Hi all. I have a 2004 st125.  Clutch basket needs replacing. Does anyone know where to get only the basket or does anyone know if these basket are the same as any other bike.

The basket used to be available separately, but it's unlikely you'll find stock anymore.  This aftermarket basket fits 2001 to 2013: https://www.splatshop.co.uk/csp-billet-clutch-basket-sherco.html

@stogga you could try taking a file to grooves if that is your problem , as a last resort of course 

Thanks for replies. It looks  like someone has already tried with a file that didnt know how to use a file. Its a right mess so maybe a second hand one for now .

Hi again .

I have ordered a second hand basket . Which is said to be from same bike however . Just wo during if any sherco experts can id if it is as looks a little different and alot lighter one I took off is the solid one and the new one doesn't have what looks like a weight ?

I'm familiar with the old style, having replaced one of those baskets.  It looks to me like the newer style omitted the rubber dampers. and fastened the basket directly to the primary gear.

I can't say if the two would interchange.  Appears the ID is different. ???

Looking though my photos for that bike, I dimpled the steel plates.  It made a huge difference in the clutch plates not sticking together when cold.
