coxy Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 i got told to run my new gasser in at 100:1 for about 5-10 trials till it was fully run in but a think 5 trials or 5 outings for 2-4 hours will be ok and run it at 100:1 then go to your normal mixture that should be ok coxy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

montesa315 Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 all i do is run at a slightly richer oil to petrol mix, say 50:1 instead of 75:1 and put 2 tanks of fuel through it. obviously start off easy with the revs. and dont let the engine labour. then get progreesivly more aggressive with the revs until the 2 tanks are gone. there run in.
