Power Output

From the Montesa website:

The new 2007 Exhaust

redirects Exhaust without

Power loss, with the ECU and

camshaft changes power has

been increased, @ 7000 RPM's from

21.8 Nm to 22.1. This results in a reduction

in sound output.

Montesa is either using the wrong units or incorrectly refers to torque as power. If you read it as torque that means the power on the 4rt was increased from 21.44hp --> 21.74 for 2007.

but Power really doesn't matter unless you are drag racing. Tractive force is what really counts (torque x gear ratio).
