beta is softer bike better for more of a clubman rider. but the sherco are a lot better build quality. i'd avoid that sherco though looks like its been hammered.

i had a 125 sherco 2005 and the mixture screw went the opposite way!! screw in for making it weaker and out for richer. dont know if yours is the same carb if the bike is not running clear reset the mixture screw by screwing all the way in and then take it out 1 and a half to 2 turns ( depending on wear the bike runs best ) Then set tick over up ,as changing the mixture also affects tick over slightly. also make sure the bike is hot when setting it up.

i know it sounds basic but start by just changing the plug. and try the bike again. if it still does it, it sounds like ignition. but what part of it i dont know. i did have a 125 beta 2007 and that suffered from missing on the bottom end but only when it got hot. turned out it was the stator. theres a bloke in spain who can xray the stators to find out if there is something wroung with them then he fixes them. cost just under
