I can't find that number in my parts lists, but it appears to be a chassis part rather than engine part (BT="Bastidor Trials", bastidor is Spanish for chassis or frame) and from a 2004 or newer model.

Bit of a dissapointment... My bike is a 2006 TXT250. Bought it second hand last month.
Fell last week and broke the middle exhaust. Then discoved it has a 2002 exhaust on it...

It is supposed to have this swingarm: BT280212002

Saw today that it has this one: BT280412002

that's why I started this topic...wanted to know from wich bike it came from...

It's a swingarm or fork brace off a TXT Pro - 2004. Those are the only part number matches I can find.

It may be a frame number printed on the part, so pictures may help?

it should not matter what yr bike you have all parts between 02 and 08 are interchaneable to the best of my knwledge, they did change from 2 piece to 1 piece middle and end cans late in that cycle, but it still had the same mounting points

There also are some differences in the way the final muffler mounts to the mid-muffler through the 02'-08' years.
