Actually I don't agree....I think there is a distinct advantage to anyone who's body weight is greater than the bike weight.... But this concept does have it's limitations :rolleyes:

Yea, you said you were light, I am not heavy, yet slightly more than the bike, but it seems to me that manipulating a heavier bike over the course of a trial will cost you some in the lost energy and fatigue factor. Yet at the same time, other than the Montesa's being a bit lumpy, the differences in the last decade have been rather negledgable as compared to most bikes from the 90's and such, which were maybe another 10 kilo's greater in girth, and had lesser suspension, yet did amazing things with normal riders. We are spoiled!
