It is not Rocket Science to see that the WTC may die a death if something isn't changed. There are several things that could make it better but I have a couple of ideas, and I will await the TC bashing brigade to shoot me down? The best riders seem to be coming out of Europe so maybe we should concerntrate on keeping within these countries. If each Country runs their own Championship, but nominates one round to count towards the World Championship then this would surely be easy to accommodate? This keeps the cost down and maybe it will encourage the factories to help and support more riders if funds are available. I know this may upset Japan, America, and all the other…

Congratulations to Jack Sheppard, on becoming 2011 SPEA FIM Youth World Trial Champion. Superb effort, all considering his injury, he has carried through the year.

Noted from the results that positions 12th,13th & 14th only managed one 3 each, 15th finisher a full house of 5,s. Still all scored world championship points!

It appears that Dibs and Beta have decided it's not worth going to compete in Japan. Strange scenario??? I appreciate the cost implications etc but surely as No1 factory rider they (Beta) want him to represent them in a good sized market for them..

Set my Sky box to record the trial on Eurosport last night (Friday) only to find out the program for the trial had been replaced !! Anyone know when or even if the program has been re-scheduled ?

I see that the FIM have changed some world round dates. I can understand the change to the Japanese round(s) - the poor souls affected by the quake/tsunami need every help they can get. But why reduce Fort William to just a single day? Last year's two day event was spot on, considering the travelling most folk had to undertake. I'm sure the traders in Fort William appreciated the business. I expect L+M events are a trifle unhappy. I don't wish to speak out of turn but the future viability of such an event surely hinges around the original business plan (ie income over two days, publicity for sponsors over two days, etc) and it's as if the FIM are not fussed about …

First of all I applaude Toni Bou for taking trials riding to a level that nobody seems to compete with and we British wern't complaining when Dougie was doing it week in, week out! But is it worth while for anyone out of the top 4/5 turning up? The Brits are really struggling this year Dibs bagging a 6th place but a fair bit mark wise off 5th place and Pune just breaking a Ton with Wiggy (well there is a seperate thread about him?). It appeared that Raga's minder talked and guided him through the Fort William sections in French rather than his native Spanish. Anyone any ideas why that is ? I thought it would have been easier and quicker to use own language.
