Please help, I can get a picture onto the forum but can't make it smaller. The pictures are full sized and off the page but how to i get them small enough to fit on nicely Hope you can help!

Well I just have to share with the Flyers out here what my Boss did out of the blue for my turned 15 today son ... He took Tyler up in his Cessna (sp?) and let him fly it (well steer it ...) Pretty cool for a kid that has never flown before . I'll wait till after I help fix the hydraulic fluid leak in the pump to fly the totally cool Sea-bee he's got too ... Makes me wish I still had my Aircoupe ... Pretty Fun day for the kid ! Glenn

For benefit of non UK readers BBC is British Broadcasting Corporation - UK state TV. Twice in the last few days they have shown "evidence" of Israeli missile strikes on or near united nations school compounds in Gaza. It is quite obvious that these strikes were not the result of missile strikes. The damage, blast marks and scorching were far more typical of a small calibre mortar round. It is an old saying that "the first casualty of war is the truth", it is a pity our national broadcaster seems to be making assertions as fact without proper knowledge or research.

So,late yesterday I make a run out to the airport to go fly a while. Took off just before dusk and spent some time then performed my night landings for currency. Last November, (This a bit of a rant, so I apologise in advance) at the Downland trial, on the way back to the horse and the harrow (start/end, we had just finished observing) a friend, my bro and myself were hit from behind by a car, whilst waiting to turn right in trev's van. The young women hit us at about 30 mph, pushing us about 40 feet forwards down the road, her car was a right off, trev's vw caddy had very little damage, bumper, light and one of the doors was dented (stood reason for buying one). Bit off topic but... Good to see the Russians managed to slip in an off road bike to carry the Olympic torch between space stations and seabeds. This blurry screen capture is from the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Bit worrying that the background looks a bit like Chernobyl, but I suppose there aren't many noise or pollution issues there.
