Hi all, I am in a hurry to get my bike licence so I can do the jersey 2 day and some other road trials, now I have booked my test in lincoln (10th sept) but all the training companies I have rang are all fully booked for direct access until oct but a couple of them said if I was on 125 they might be able to fit me in, but if I do it on a 125 I will be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years. I have seen something on this forum about the bhp of a trials bike but I can't for the life of me find it anywhere. So what is the bhp of a trials bike? I am pretty sure it's much lower than 33 but I just want to make sure. Also how many lessons did it take you folks to get up to test…

I'm forever mispacing my passport and spending ages rushing manically around the house looking for it. Does anyone know where I can get hold of a passport locator. There usually a bright red plastic sheet that has an adhesive layer on one side, to which you secure your passport. They accept all types of British passport as well as Scottish ones. The locator is then placed in a prominent position, for example near to a washing machine or other domestic appliance.

Please accept my humble apology for the shabby treatment Gordon Brown received during his recent visit with Obama. I am not fond of Prime Minister Brown but 25$ worth of CD's as a gift is pretty niggardly. Maybe Obama is out of money after spending trillions on pork. Cheers DFW

A Banbury senior citizen drove his brand new BMW Z3 convertible out of the car salesroom. Taking off down the motorway, he floored it to 90 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little hair he had left. "Amazing!" he thought as he flew down the M40, enjoying pushing the pedal to the metal even more. Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a police car behind him, blue lights flashing and siren blaring. "I can get away from him - no problem!" thought the elderly nutcase as he floored it to 110mph, then 120, then 130mph. Suddenly, he thought, "What on earth am I doing? I'm too old for this nonsense!" So he pulled over to the side of the road and waited f…

Not quite sure yet why, but I have applied my flaming black cherries to honor someone and p*** off others! RIP Michael! All quite by coincidence really, found the tatt today at lunch and had to apply it! Bit of pun to a couple others at work as well! Whom do I resemble NOW! Nutters!

First you get yourself a travel trailer Next drive it to a prime hunting property Then shove some poles in the ground. (I know its sad to see some good trials logs put to waste but this may be worth it) Then get some buddies and some bucket loaders around to help manipulate. Drink some beer and admire the hard work. (Note axles must be removed or this project could look ridiculous) Make sure that you have it chained down because trailers have been known to blow away. (note several random trials barrels around and how propane does not seem to be needed in this project at this point) (double note save that propane for later) Next you will want to buil…

While I'm here........ Merry Christmas and a dab free New Year to everyone here on TC. I hope 2012 brings you all much happiness All the best, GJ & Family

Sorry if this has been covered before, can anyone tell me the best way to host photos so that they can be displayed on TC? All my pictures either too big to upload or end up tiny in physical size. Thanks

Any of you American guys into flat track racing ? Seen a cracking DT1 from the Dan Rouit flat track museum in the States and i'm going to replicate it . Go to google and type in flat tracker 2 strokes , look for his name and check out the 27th image . Oh , could really annoy the local plod with that. Tax exempt , BSI kite mark on exhaust not necessary. A big middle finger to the rules on that bike . What do you think lad's (and lasses) ? Shy T

All you fellow geeks, ok the one in the shed has gone tits up and I cannot figure why. Late model running win7 and IE9, it still functions, yet when opening a website, such as TC, it will opem the mainpage, then if you clik anything, a bar comes up at the bottop statingthat the site is not responding. There is an option to recover webpage which just sends one into an eternal loop. Running AVG, which reports nothing, I ran the Malwarebytes which found 1 item and apparently is unable to delete it, apparently a hijack bug of unknown origin as I cannot ID it from the report. I also ran the windows scantool to no avail. Thinking about just running the recovery disk as I am…

Probably like a lot of other people I'm sick to death of receiving junk mail through the post for loans, insurance, you name it. Apart from writing I'm not interested return to sender on it, does anyone have any novel ways of dealing with this annoying and environmentally unfriendly practice.
