  2. Hi guys I really do not know witch forum is the right one for this request, so the moderators/administrators should feel free to move the subject. So here goes. I have been Trial riding for the last 7 years, and love it dearly. I´m am (and has been for some time), active in the development of Danish Trial, both on the national and club scene. 2 year back I was blessed with a baby boy, and he is now beginning to find his daddy’s motorcycle madness interesting. So it only natural that I am looking for ways to introducing him to the sport of Trial. But – searching the web high and low hasn’t produced any ideas on how to make that introducing to the sport. I have he…

Welcome to the new TC! As detailed previously all users will have to reset their passwords in order to access the new TC systems. Please see this Important Information article for more information and what you need to do. The new Trials Central brings together a load of disparate systems giving users access to the Forums, Front page for new article comments feature, access to Supporters content where appropriate and news and event posting all under a single sign-on. Please note that although the Forums have been given a fresh, new look, the software behind them is the same so there is nothing new to learn. Everything will still work the same as you're used to. I don…

I made some fork protectors out of black golf club tubes, attached them with black nylon ties and applied some Armor All for shine. All for less than a buck! For upper fork protection I used cracker sleeve containers that cost $2 each at my Kroger grocery store. I'd like to find something else that's clear. For 15

  5. The blue rebound adjustment knob on top of the right fork will not turn. Do these freeze up if they are not turned or lubed for some time? Could it just be jammed because someone turned it too tight? Any suggestions? Also, there's a small slot head screw in the bolt at the bottom of the fork. This is the bolt that holds the tube and damper assemble in. What's the purpose of this screw?.

Was playing on the bike in the snow and it felt like the carb was icing so put it back in the garage. When I have taken the bike back out, still getting the same symptoms but the temperature was plus 4.5 centigrade. Symptoms are Starting with the choke it revs much higher than normal When warm will not tick over A delay in pick up when you open the throttle and no power at the bottom end Delay in revs dropping when shutting off Will rev to near normal max revs but will not rev out as cleanly as usual Will not restart without the choke I have stripped and checked the carb (Del orto), jets are clear though there was signs of condensation. Put it in the airing cupbpa…

Just had an Email from the Norwegian club who are running the final European round in 05 , wanting details of my club's programme from last year. Trouble is it was not my club (Macclesfield trials club) that ran the trial, so who did run the GB round in 04. I will pass on the email address to any body that can help.

Hi after help, relatively new to trials not a lot of knowledge, had the bike a few years and always run well for its age, was riding a few weeks ago and it just stopped, no spark, done the usual tests plug, kill switch bad earth ect but with no results, I've been in contact with a few stator rewinders and they say that the 12 coil stator that is in my model are pretty much bullet proof so would more likely to be the pick up, the CDI box or the voltage regulator, the pickup has been tested by west country Windings and it's ok, so down to it most probably being the CDI box, these apparently are extremely hard to find now, I have also been told that Kokusan do a complete ign…

  9. A couple of weeks ago I stiffened up the rear spring with the proper tools. The adjusting ring was sure a tight one to turn like people say. I noticed that the shock itself was twisting a little bit each time I turned the ring. Is that normal first of all? I assumed it was. Secondly, last night on the way to go riding we stopped at the gas station and I noticed something different about the appearance of the shock. I saw this yellow rubber piece the was laying at the top of the shock. I'm guessing it's a bumper that normal stays at the top of the shock to cushion everything when the shock bottoms out. Is that right? Why is it not staying where is should? And las…

Hi all I'm looking at organising a local 1 day Scot type trial. Problem is I have never ridden one, but have ridden plenty of enduros. I have also ridden quite a few local trials, so understand that reasonable well. Will most likely be around 140km with 30 sections Any suggestions on how to manage the scoring. I can get our local enduro timing expert to attend with all his timing gear, so that part is not really a big issue. Setting out sections should be fine, also. However what would be a good way of scoring with point versus time Any suggestions appriciated K

I just read a post in our forum here in germany about a 10 year old in austria. He had learnt to ride during 2008 with his dad using a beta which beta germany had lent to his club. At the end of this year, beta wanted to sell the bike and his dad had more or less commited to buy it for him. Then his dad dies of a heart attack aged 40! I dont know the kid or the family but obviously buying a 3500 euro trials bike is no longer possible for his mum. A guy on our fourum asked if anyone had bits that could be made up into a bike of sorts and the response has been great. My mate pit donatted a 20 inch trials cycle, another guy boots helmet etc. A dealer will send a new set of…
