Can anyone help ,does anyone know where you can get either alpinestars or the army style waterproof socks i have used these in the past on got on well with them, but i can no longer seem to see anyone selling them. i have been using recently the seal skinz type but these leak after no time at all on my third pair now and given up .Thanks in advance

What 2 stroke oil do you use for your bike, and is there any real difference between. They all seem to be good quality 2 stroke oil, so just asking for your opinion Wonder Boy

Just had to post the pic below on another bike forum to illustrate a point and decided to kick off a new thread for those wondering if they should or should not take up trials. I am amazed that in less than 30 hours total on this bike, as I do not get to ride it every weekend or inbetween, I ride when Jon and Pete go out. Last Saturday I was due to take part in a local trial with the Waltham Chase club at a venue in the New Forest. I was to be riding my Beta 270 along with my lad on his TY80. On the morning of the trial, we decided to run the bikes up on my drive just to have a shake down and get my lad used to the bike again after not rideing for a while. My back brake seized and would not apply so a hurried hour spent trying to strip it and bleed it through proved fruitless so I dropped it off at Inchains in Ringwood for repair and I had resigned myself not to ride. The rear tire on one og my bikes is leaking out all og the air within a few hours. The tire size is 4.00 R18 so what do you think of putting a inner tube in the tire? I read that tube size 110/90-18, 110 /100-18 and 120/100-18 will fit the 4.00- R18 rear tire. Any knows if this is correct? i curentley ride a 260 and i never rode a 125, im thinking about buying a more modern bike and there are alot or 125 about but are they any good? is there a big difrence between them and a 250? and do they have less power?

I have a stock 05 Rev3 270 and would like to upgrade the foot pegs. What do you guys like the best?

What are the best National and International Shows for the off roader? Ive only been to Telford and the Dirt bike show so dont have much of an idea of the others. Id be interested to know what Bike Shows there are here and abroad that are good in the off road department Thanks

Coming from Dirt and Dualsport, I'm amazed by how mysterious Trials bikes are made to be. With other bikes we talk of "quick turning", "revy", "grunt", "stable at speed" etc..... But when others come looking for info here, the differences don't get listed?! Are there no things particular to each brand or model?

Im brand new to the sport of Trials, and Im wondering what the rules are? Ive tried googling it but couldnt find the very basic of rules!

I'm searching for a new bike. I currently have a Sherco st 2.9, but it is an access model from 2009 and it is a bit outdated at this point. I like it overall, It has been very reliable and sturdy, but I have recently ridden some more up to date bikes and they felt much more capable. I was instantly able to do things I could not do on my current bike. I could hop them around where the Sherco just feels too heavy. I think the main issue is the suspension and heavy frame on my current Sherco. It has a frame from a much older model.... From what i can find its a rev 4T, but then I'm seeing evo's and 4RT's and rev3 4T, etc etc it's a bit confusing 🤡🤯 thanks

I’m going to be investing in a newish bike , budget 5k do I go 250 or 300 really like the look of the BETA , so much choice and I guess down to personal preference but any ideas of what to go for. I am revisiting trials after a Long break , interested to see what people think. Any help appreciated

Hi all know this will open up a can of worms, at the minute I’m on a 17 Beta factory 300 and fancy something different (had Beta for a long time) thinking trrs or a 4rt, know there’s a big difference! The trrs are they a bike that’s set up and don’t have to mess about adjusting carb all the time and run spot on, I’ve been told 250 are a good bike, I’ve had 300s for years so not sure what cc ? I’m a good clubman and do nationals and road trials 4rt will the weight be a issue whilst riding and will it Be to bigger change ? Ridden a few and like them

I am currently looking for a trials bike for my six year old son. He is big for his age and .not ridden a motorbike before. Do i go for a twist and go (beta mini or gas gas 50) or a bike with gears( beta rev 50).He sits on my lap on my bike and has got to grips with the clutch and throttle. Also is the beta minitrial the same size as a beta rev 50? He has sat on a gas gas 50 and is the perfect size for him. What do i do? Heard bad things about the electrics on a gas gas and not willing to pay silly season prices.
