Can someone help me out. I have looked through the other posts but can find answer to my problem. Changed pads and pistons in front break,I had problems bleeding but I sorted that out. But the travel on brake lever was way to much for me,so took caliper off to see, pistons on one side only come out.The other pistons move slightly but not much. Also the piston on m/s is at it's max. Any thoughts please. Stop press. Saturday night and I've sorted it.Did not have much faith in the hot then cold trick, but it worked a treat (can relax now).

Hi guy's, I've fitted some beta rim stickers to my evo wheels. Do you normally have to trim them to fit (length) or have i buggered it up? I've used the shorter ones on the rear and the longer on the front. Hugh

Hi all, I'm new here and to the sport. I currently greenlane on an ktm 250exc and am looking at getting a trial bike for fun and to improve my off road riding. Can anyone recommend the best bike make and cc to get started with as I'm confused where to begin. I'm 15 stone without gear so wondering if the 125 might be a bit small for me? Thanks a lot, Iain

Ouch indeed !! Yesterday was going well at our local woods, plenty of fun and skill practice until about 2 hours in then OUCH! crossing a burn, up a bank, hopped over a log, no big issue I guess untill the bike decided to head right instead of straight on and I along with machine headed off the narrow track and straight down backwards into the burn landing on my left shoulder and slamming my left leg on a rather large slab of rock.. I guess I only fell about 5ft or so and thankfully narrowly missing that rock but nevertheless I'm suffering big style today At the time myself and my mate were a fair way from the van but I still had to get back with the bike, I managed bu…

I know this topic has been beat to death.I just got a new pair of Novogars, comfortable from the first ride. The Alpinestars I just tossed were not comfy until they were worn out beyond repair. The straps on the novos are long enough to fit around my fat calfs unlike the alpines which needed longer straps.I am pleased so far with the Novogars.Any out there with long term thoughts on the Novos?

The forks on my Fantic 240 have always been a bit sticky so I stripped them last weekend & put new seals & 5W oil in them, they seemed a bit better but still not great. Tonight I took the top yoke off (a Fantic 200 one) and measured the centres of the holes compared with the bottom yoke - 0.6mm less, so I put the original 240 yoke on & the forks are fine. The problem is I fitted the 200 yoke to improve the handlebar position, so, my question is are yokes usually machined as pairs so they match exactly? or is the difference likely to be caused by tolerances? (and does anyone have a pair of 200 yokes for sale?)

Hi all I expect this has come up many times before but I bent my trusty renthal bars and I am considering what to replace them with. I am considering moving to pro taper bars but I am unsure of there quality and riding position. I prefer the pro taper bars on my YZF250 to the renthals on the YZ250. The renthals on the TY has the same effect as those on the YZ in making my right hand go numb after about 20 minutes. I am unsure if it is the type of bike or my riding position that has more effect on this rather than the make of bars. I know that most of bar choice is down to rider preference but hopefully your advice will help me select a set. Basically I need to know t…

Who is getting fed up ( or is it only happening to me ) when ordering parts from trials shop web sites , pay for the item . Only to find out that they dont have them in stock and they have to order the item in . So youve paid for the part and no clue when the item will turn up for you ! So tell me why are these shops advertise and sell stock they dont hold ?
