Introduce Yourself

hi, just had a bit of bad error of judgement and bought a trials bike after well lots of years. so here goes nothing.

Just thought i`d introduce myself again now as an official supporter of trials central

I thought I would take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Greg and I am typing from Vancouver Island on the west coast of British Columbia Canada. I have two trials bikes #1 is 1979 TY250 and my newest one I bought is a 97 RTX 212 Trials. If anyone knows anything on this RTX bike could you maybe send me some links. It came with a owners manual written in felt pen along with an exploded pic of the clutch along with some specs of oil etc. It also has some phone # for the USA, but I thought I would try my luck on the internet first. First time in a chat forum, looking forward to it. Just wanted to intro myself to the group.

i've been reading the posts for awhile, but just registered last night. I live in Prince George, B.C. Canada. I've been riding trials since 1983, with a few hiatusses(sp). I just bought a '06 Beta 270, and absolutely love it!!! My last bike was a '96 Techno, and before that TY's in all sizes. I picked up my bike a couple of weeks ago, and since it has snowed about 2 feet!!! it will be a month at least before i can ride near home. anyway, HI to everyone and im jealous of all of you that get to ride and compete while im out snowmobiling.

Hi All Just a quick post to say hello. A little bit abt me. I raced schoolboy motorcross abt five years ago but stopped after a few nasty crashes and really i need to focus on my education instead of my racing . But now im hooked again after borrowing my brothers old Yamaha TY250 aircooled monoshock to follow my nephew abt on his pw50. Ive done a few practise sessions but the bike is not up to competing with the water cooled bikes so im currently saving up for a cheap bike, but thats easier said than done when ur a student . Anyways thanks for looking Scott

Hey everone, I am new to this forum and wanted to say I'm glad I stumbled by it! I've read tons of information already, and learned alot in the last few days.. I just restored my 1978 yamaha ty 175 and wrote a thread about ithere. Feel free to check it out and give your opinions in that thread I'm only 18, and this is my first bike to my name (handed down).. but I have the bug for rebuilding them now, and I absolutely love riding trials.. Mornin' Been reading the forum for a while so its time to join in Got 2 cubs and a TLR, and I am rubbish at trials.

Back into trials after a 15 year hiatus. Bought a Cotaq 4rt ( pick up monday..) Why Montesa? Perfect blend of a great spanish Bike ( passion and flair) with the precision of Honda power. we should see the same in cars yes? Novice Class I would imagine, will try events but in it for th "puttering" Love the fact that Trials Central puts this forum on - great to see so much activity in Trailsd and so many people with opinions / infomation and the love of the sport.
