Hello, just thought I'd introduce myself. Been into off road bikes fo a bit now and got the trials bug whilst doing up a Pre-65 Triumph 350 unit twin as a bit of a project for my Dad. Looking for a modern trials iron now and hoping to get to know a few clubs. Staffs Moorlands and Derbyshire which is my area and Shropshire/Staffs border for my Dad. Went to have a look at the Shropshire TC at Hinstock (I think) last Sunday, seems a really friendly bunch. The smell of 2 stroke in the morning. Lovely!

Hello everyone this is my first post here but ive been riding trail and enduro bikes for a few years. I recently did a top end rebuild on a mates Beat and after riding it around the garden decided that trials was in fact, very cool. SO i rushed out and Ive just bought an old (1991) Aprilia climber 280 trials bike to knock about on during the winter while I save for a 2005/2006 YZ or CR 125 to do enduros on next year. But sadly, the plan did not go to plan!!!! Full details here lol = http://www.trailbikemag.com/forum/viewtopi...p?p=81996#81996]Clicky click://http://www.trailbikemag.com/forum/v...a>]Clicky click

Hi all, I'm new to trials biking. In my youth I've had various crossers and field bikes, which led on to road bikes. From a DT50 to more recently an R1. But now Ive taken to Trialling, with a Gasgas JT 350, 1995 model. Its a bit of a beast, I know, but it seemed good for the money. Are parts stil available for these? Ideally I would like to buy a manual for it, it nees a few jobs doing ( fork seals, rear bearings, front brake). Where's the best place to try for bits? Cheers, Cieran

Hi, great forum for an old trialer. Does anyone know how i get an age-related certificate for my yamaha ty250 mono? as i dont want a Q plate. I regestered my old norton without a hitch as vintage m/c club varified its date but i am having trouble to find who can do a yamaha. It has 86 on the wheels so its probably a 1987 bike but DVLA wont take it as fact. Thanks Dave

Hello, Im Nadine, Im not exactly new to the trials scene, iv been riding bike trials for the past 6 years. I did have a little gas gas 50 cc when i was younger but i got it just as foot and mouth came out so due to lack of use i sold it to buy a better push bike trials bike... I'm now nearly 18, and my dad got me a sherco 250 for both of us and for once he's a better rider than me hahaa!!. But im slightly new to larger scale motorcycle trials. So im near enough starting from scratch again which is different . Iv been brought up around trials since i was born so its some where in the blood stream. Just thought id introduce my self, as some people on here might know me…

A new (to trials) n00b here. From Iowa, US of A Just picked up my 1st trials bike, a Sherco 2.9. Gaining a lot of respect for those who go slow! My first ride was about 1:45 & my arms were jelly. And I'm use to riding trails/enduros on an off-road bike. Different muscles/muscle use I guess?

Er, just joined. So, apparently, the next step is to introduce myself... Well, I'm an old (60!) trials fart who used to wobble around in the SE Centre as a member of the Sunbeam Club, most recently on a 250 Greeves (but before that, various Bultacos, a Jim Susans HT5 Ariel, etc., etc.,). Then, last year, I emigrated to France. Having sold my Greeves before moving, I then found myself trials-bike-less for the first time in about forty years. Suddenly realising that life was hardly worth living without a trials bike, I started looking around... Spotted a mint 250 RTL Honda on French eBay going for about five grand. Tempting, but decided it was a bit pricey and it'd be a sh…
