Hi guys, A quick hello to you all. I came across the site after buying an aprillia 280 climber (1993) and cant find much about them on the web when i saw you have an aprillia forum I'm getting into trials after doing road racing for the last 4 years... little rgv250...won a club championship in 2005 and had a nasty blow up in 2006 leaving me with 23 fractures in the right tib and fib...still got a frame on the leg but hoping to have it removed in the next few months...So seeing as the aprillia has the kickstart on the left..BONUS And from what i can remember when i used to do a bit of off road when a yoof......even at 5mph it can be pretty scary at times …

Hi from Fairbanks, Alaska. I've got two oldies: 74 TY250 and a 75 TL250. Both run great but the TY250 needs a new kick starter lever and the TL250 needs a new exhaust system. Lots of fun!

I spotted a forlorn TY250 out in the rain and just had to rescue it. Cost me a hundred bucks. It is part yellow 1974 and part blue 1977. Frame is 434-000xxx and engine is 493-20xxxx. It's 99% all there and would probably start and drive but I optioned to give it a quickie restoration first. Then do it up right if it bike runs and drives fine. The Good: Motor is free and has spark & compression, wheels are round, steel tank solid, seat/fenders/side/skidplate cover present, lighting kit present and presentable. The Bad: White death in the carb (needs rebuild kit), broken upper throttle cable (how does one replace just the upper?), marginal front brake cable, c…

I've joined a couple of days ago and only just realised this introductory bit was here. So. . . Hi. Im from Lancashire and grew up riding field bikes and then motocross. I then got into road bikes, and then supermoto. I currently own a Yamaha FZX750 and a CR500 supermoto which i have built myself and and can be seen at my myspace page here - http://www.myspace.com/aaaagh . Leave comments if you like. I have just bought a 97 Scorpa Easy 250. I always hankered after a modern mono trials bike since i owned an old ty175 years ago. It has been sat in a local bike shop for about 18 months My grandad passed away recently and left me just enough money, he told me to buy so…

Well I am 27 years young from Ayrshire in Scotland. I currntly race mx and have done for oh 19 years now so bike experience that way is not a problem. I have also practiced pedal trials for around 7 years. I have good natural balance and decent bike skills both pedal and the engine powered kind. Anyway to cut a long story short I was practicing the other day getting ready for racing this weekend at Drumclog then due to lack of entries the race was cancelled. As motocross is such an exspensive sport and the fact that this year I have not gained any speed tells me that maybe I am ready to take a back seat on the mx thing. Thinking of trading in for a new 08 125 to keep for…

Hello everyone. I just recently took up (or am attempting to take up...) trials. So far it's been a lot of fun and a good learning experience. I've been riding for a few years now and I guess I should have started this sooner, but hey, better late than never. I recently purchased a 2002 Montesa Cota 315 and so far I really like it, but then I really don't have any other trials experience to compare it to. Hopefully I will continue to have fun and maybe even get a little better at riding while I'm at it.

Hi Just bought a Montesa Cota 315R. Not sure yet how far I want to go with it. Realistically I'll probably just use it for the odd day out at Tom's farm and anywhere else I can find at first and then when its road registered will probably use it for green laning. Might like to get good enough to join a club but we will have to see how I get on with it! Been into Moto-x prior to this and have a Husqvarna CR430 (Aka the Swedish Satan) but at the moment I'm not riding it much as I am really struggling to find places in the midlands to ride it as I'm not into big jumps and tabletops etc and the only enduro track I know of is only open on Sunday and I can't do Sundays :-( B…
