Hi everyone just joined the forum. Lock down has encouraged me to start rebuilding my 1967 Sprite 250 mk2 that has been in pieces for the last 25 years and after that I have a Ossa TR77 to do so i may need some help from this excellent forum.

1999 cota 315r has a broken lower right fork bracket. The front forks are Paoili 38mm. It seems to be common for the clamp to break as this one has but this one also has a hair line crack between the oil chamber and the axle. Kind of weird finding an oil leak in your front axle, anyway trying to find a replacement for it, or if that does not work out a replacement set of lowers or another set of forks. As a newbee I am not in contact with anyone involved with trials, and any advise is welcomed. If you know if the Beta 38mm lower will work please let me know which model it is. Hi all, New to this forum and returning to off road and trials riding after a looonnnng time away. I rode trials a little bit as a very young kid but then my teen and adult years have been spent on road bikes, surfboards and in, under, on and behind (pushing) a variety of mainly clapped out vans. Hello from Boonville Indiana. A buddy and I went to trials school in TN 15 years ago and when we came back I bought a used Montesa Cota315r and he moved to Idaho. The Cota set until now as no one to ride with. Finally decided to get it out to play a little a have run into a problem. The right lower fork was cracked on the clamp. This seems to be a common problem but I have also discovered a hairline crack allowing oil to leak out thru axle clamp area. I have found a welder willing to take this on but he has asked if I can find out the metal composition of the piece. As it’s seems the Paoila 38mm lower is now an unobtainable part help any info is appreciated. If welding…

Hi, Just a quick hello. Middle aged trials hero wannabe here. I have recently got back into trails after my wife bought me an 01 Sherco 2.9. I have upgraded my son, of 7, from a PW50 to a Sherco 0.5. My wife was fed up of watching us all ride round so she sold her 02 GSXR 600 and bought an 09 Beta 2t 250 Evo which has come with issues and thats why i have found your site. Hi, finally got excuse to join trials fun having inherited a late 92 Beta Zero 260 Jordi T signature bike. Heard all the Joy's of being a Beta owner. Hopefully it'll lead to adding a more recent trials model to weekend garage which has always been Enduros, but the Beta will be a sentimental resto. Came with Techo fronted and the original boxed up (assuming the following being very reason). Want to restore with the forks, labelled up as GT32 (Paioli 36mm USD), but the top cap is done up FT even though still sitting way out of the uppers and brass adjustment screw too soft to attempt impact driver. Hi I'm Joe and I have a venerable old 1993 Gas Gas Jordi Tarres replica Contact T-25 aka as a JT 25 or GT 250 sometimes depending which You tube video you watch,. the bike was bought as a wreck needing :- New Suspension bearings, new clutch plates, the clutch slave cylinder screw threads needing Helicoiling, a clutch rod, CDI repairing, the plastics repairing, new water pump seal, a radiator fan switch of some kind, a fan motor rebuild new rear brake master cylinder However apart from the clutch rod, and the original light units it was all present had good compression and the motor its self felt good.and so could be made good. . . . over some considerable time

(In the crime free USA) I am an old trials rider from waaay back.....and have just recently come full circle and got a new trials bike again after many years of riding motocross/enduro/hare scrambles. I got my start at 14 years old when I bought a new Suzuki RL250, but have also owned Bultaco and Ossa trials bikes too. Just bought a new 2018 Montesa Cota 300RR and I'm very impressed with the bike and how advanced they are now. Looking forward to getting better and challenging my self through out the remaining year.......before the snow comes again and I switch equipment to the snowmobile.?

Hi I have a Montesa Cota 247 that I have owned for over 35 years, I haven't ridden it for at least 5 years but have had the urge to get so use from it. I put some fresh petrol in yesterday and it started second kick. I have unstuck one of the fork legs this morning and changed the oils but realised i don't have a manual, could anybody point me in the right direction to get a manual for a 1977 Montesa cota 247 Many thanks Chris from East Devon
