Been riding trials bowt 2 months now, got a beta 270 and love it but bored of riding solo, anyone know of any clubs to join, to make riding more interesting and a bit competition? I live in Sunderland so North East area! Cheers

Hi All, New to Trials and the whole off road thing to be honest, got hooked after an off road try out day run by another forum i use. Had the last few years riding on track, after getting fed up of nearly being killed riding on the road. Anyway, big accident this year, resulting in 2 breaks to my pelvis and 1 to my back, and its time to slow down for a while so thought trials was the ideal thing to get my bike fix and get me fit at the same time! Thought it was time to say hello, been riding bike for longer than I care to remember currently riding a ZX12R but never ridden a trials bike so decided it was time to take the plunge. First of all need to find a way to transport it, will it fit in the back of my l200 this was ruled out pretty quick even if it did fit its a long way up so a quick search of evil bay sees me buying a dave cooper rack for £24, next problem is if I do buy one where can I practise another net search comes up with earl shilton trials club so joined with practise membership. I rode trials in the 1950s on a rigid 350 BSA B32 The bike was in road trim as most of us rode to the trial in those days !! I introduced my son to the sport about 30 years ago. We went thru various bikes Bultaco Fantic Montesa etc. Time went by and the trialing faded for various reasons My son has taken the sport up again and introduced my grandson to the sport with an Oset. I find I can still ride without falling off so now have my all time favourite machine a Montesa twinshock a Cota 200 Its an ex farm bike and because of its condition doubt its ever been trialed Changed the oil fuelled it up and away it went !! Hi Guys, I have been riding Enduro for the past 20 years. I've always wanted to do some cross training with trials, but never got around to getting a trials bike to play with. my current Enduro ride is a Beta 300rr, and I'm picking up a Beta Rev3 (2002) this weekend as my entry into the trials world. I live in an area on NJ where the terrain really lends itself to trials, in fact most of our single track trails are better suited for a trials bike than a full on Enduro bike and that's the way we like it! Hello Everyone, I just recently returned to trials after having been involved in an on-and-off manner for the past 30+ years. Living in California, the environmental/air quality issues made purchasing a bike that I could ride all year long extremely difficult. I ended up buying an Electric Motion 5.7 and really love it. However, now there are now fewer places to ride and fewer trial riders at the events. Trials seems to be on a very steep decline and I would like to hear your opinions as to why that may be happening. I've seen the OSET company trying to get very young riders involved in trials, and I think that's great. But what do you think can be done to…

Hello to all...New to this forum, I'm glad I found it! I have a 1972 OSSA MAR that has been in our family since the 1973-1974 time frame. The MAR belonged to my brother when he lived in NJ. Around 75-76 he dropped it off at may Mom's house in PA...and being the younger brother I just had to ride it! I loved riding it but when my Mom moved to Texas in '78 the Ossa went with her (since it was really belonged to my older brother) and sat unridden baking in her shed in the Texas sun for the next 23 years. Then my Brother moved to Alabama and retrieved the Ossa from my Mom's shed and took it to his new home in Alabama...where it sat in his garage covered with dust wi…

Hi all. I have always fancied a go at trials so thought this is the place to start. At the moment I am selling my trusty XR600 which I hope will fund a new toy. Possibly a Gasgas txt 250? However, I know very little about this type of bike or trialling in general. The plan is to fit a rack on the back of my Land Rover and go and learn a bit of what it is all about. So here I am. Been riding off road for some 30+ years and got my first trials bike in Nov. a 01 txt 280 It was in a box though. What a experence that was . It was all worth it in the end this thing is a hoot

G`day from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I`m Russ and the owner of an old TL125 K2 and the new owner of a TLM200R ( MD15 ). I`ve just come back to trials bikes after a break of 35yrs ( last had a TL in 1979 living in Sussex ) mostly to get my son interested but also to have fun ! The old TL was restored by an Aussie who had 30 bikes stored under his house and he let me have it pretty cheap, just needed new tyres, carby and rear shocks ( Sammy Miller gas items shipped over ) and now it runs great. My new bike is a 1985 TLM200R and this seems to be a much rarer creature because parts a very thin on the ground. I love this bike but the clutch is on its last legs so will …

Hi all, new to this site, having a) just retired and just bought a 1961 BSA C15 trial project. a few bits are missing, and I'm trying to get my head around what's already been done and the variants of not only stock bikes but also the trials mods . Having ridden since the age of 14, when I used to ride across fields on a NSU moped, I'm hoping to have a go at pre 65 trials (that's if I can get the bike running before I'm 65 lol). Last bike ZZR1400R so now taking life at a gentler pace.

Hello everyone! I saw the "introduce yourself" forum here and thought i would say hello Ive been riding mx and enduro since the age of 8 and have always been interested in trials. I started watching some trials videos from the blokes down under in Australia about a year ago (great videos by the way) and really started dreaming.
