Ok I'm looking to replace the old amal concentric mk1 carb on the Ossa mar 350 and I've come across the Nibbi carb. Are they any good? Anybody used one?

Hello ossa users, now that im a proud owner of a ossa tr280i i wonder whats the best site to get spare parts like clutch etc.... I'm from italy and the best address i found until now was nonstopmotoren.com but even there is no clutch. I wonder if there is any other branded clutch (maybe gasgas) thats compatible?

Does anyone have an alloy tank for an Ossa mar they would sell me please

Good evening I have just aquired an Ossa with engine number M 340285 but can not find any sign of a frame number it has a white fibreglass tank and a black frame which is not showing any signs of other colours underneath it would be nice to know what model and size motor cheers

When I start my OSSA MAR the engine revs just keep on climbing until I kill engine. Carb slide working OK. Any ideas.

does anybody know the original thickness of the ossa mar central case gasket?....i want to know so i can get the correct -same thickness as original gasket ,in oerder to avoid shimming changes.......The old gasket seems to average at 0.025 inch ive got a new one from vintco and it mic's at 0.030 inch ...

My weight is 122 lb, sometime I have trouble kick starting my Ossa Explorer...the kick start do not give enough leverage..too short and slippery. Has anybody know replacement kick start from other bike or custom manufacturer that is has longer arm ?..and fit the Ossa kick start stub ?

I’m looking for a headlight reflector for my 78 VI Day. I’m not sure but I believe it was only used on the 78 black tank VI Day. I haven’t been able to find one anywhere. I’m hoping someone on this site knows of a source. Thanks

Hi everyone , I’m hoping to get a bit more advice regarding my MAR. Over lockdown I’ve rebuilt the bike which I inherited in bits, I had never seen one in the flesh so was a bit lost initially but got some great advice here. The bike is pretty much done now, I didn’t attempt an totally accurate restoration just wanted a presentable bike I could actually use. And after some debate I decided to get the engine professionally rebuilt . Riding it round the garden it seems to run well but I have an oil leak(s) From reading other threads it seems that one of the leaks is common with other MARs in that there’s a small weep from the right side of the gear selecto…

My 280i SSDT model has a problem with the electrical system somewhere. It cuts out in stages when it is hot.... First the top and mid end goes and then after limping around on low revs for about 2 minutes the engine cuts completely. It is impossible to start until it has cooled for maybe 5 minutes and then it starts as normal on the first or second kick. Subsequent to that it runs normally on either map until it has heated up.....the same sequence after a shorter time. I feel it is in the left hand engine case as it started after a shorter interval after I poured half a bottle of water over it. I recently got my first classic bike, from a friend who just wanted it out the garage. He has said its a ossa mar 250 mick andrews rep. I don't know enough about it, to know for sure if it is what it is claimed to be. Any help and advice much appreciated. Earl

Hi I have water in my gear oil. I have the water pump out. I think the bike is 2013. There is a circlip behind the drive gear which was tricky to remove. It was suggested that I change the pump seal, although the problem could be somewhere else. How do I remove the impeller? Does anyone know the seal part number? Is the seal a common part? I've rebuilt the motor and was surprised to see such a large counter weight / flywheel on the cush drive. My 1972 Mar 250 has no counter weight. Any one experimented with removing or reducing this extra weight? Looking at it it almost strikes me that it's a factory add on for those who wanted to tame the bike in the day? bike runs fine, just looking to put a bit of snap into it. this seems to be an obvious but need to get a little insight first. cheers

Hi, has anyone had any experience beefing up the magneto cover around the clutch actuation shaft or is there another stronger magneto cover that can be used? Any help or advice much appreciated, thank you Alistair

Hi l'm having trouble tightening my clutch centre nut up to the correct torque (65lbf). Can any body suggest a method or know where I can get a suitable clutch holding tool from? I'm in the UK
