I've got a slow puncture on the rear tyre of the Gasser i've just bought, due to catching it on a rock.
The tyres in good nick so the previous owner got it repaired and it lasts about 4 days before going down. I wondered about putting slime in it as a further repair - anybody used it? any downsides to it?
cheers for the advice, i'm from Penrith in Cumbria and there are a couple of local clubs, I'll go and have another spectate and see the standard i need to be at.
Hi
I wondered what you guys thought about starting out in trials, I've done a bit of green laning etc but am now about to buy a trials bike but am struggling for somewhere to practice. A mate who's been competing for a good a while say's he soesn't get much time for practice so just does events and learns as he goes. So would you recomend buying a bike and just going for it and entering a trial or do I need to find somewhere and practice first?
cheers
Very true, problem is my cars a company car and due for change in 12 months, wifes car is too small for a bike rack (nose weight only 45kgs!) and not much space for a trailer. Plan B i thik, what ever that is.
thanks any way.
Thanks for that, good to know they're well put together.
I'm wondering if by anychance it will go in the back of my estate with wheels off and bars turned down, any ideal how high a trilas bike is from sump to top yoke??
cheers
hi all
New into this lark, lookin at gettin a trials bike shortly after doing a bit of greenlaning.
Could do with the dimesnions of a trials bike without the wheels on up to the fork tops if anyone can help. Hoping it'll fit into my estate car by dropping the wheels out and tilting the bars back, don't have to get a towbar & trailer then.
thanks if anyone can help.
