If theres no damage or vertiacal play in the Crank (big end) bearing. I would guess just new main bearings and seals would do you ok

Leaking Carb
sound like the carb float has stuck open. try tapping side of bowl with the handle of a screw driver sometime wakes it up. Stripe and clean would be a good idea though

Normal stuff like exessive engine noise, water in tranmission fluid, wheel bearing head stock bearings depending on the year check for damage on the radiator and casing, ( on the newer model 2007 to 2010) put bike on a track stand so both wheels are off the ground, now lift up the back wheel there should be no play in the linkage if th re is more than 2 inch you may have to replace any number of the many bushs etc in the linkage but not a big problem. water leaking through water pump casing I understand is any issue with the pre pro years. I have just brought a 04 250 pro and it is a fantastic bike. Im sure there is more knowledge in the forum but this is what I was told to look for

we use 2 stroke from morrisons petrol station. Try repacking the end can of the exhaust if it ran bad on a different carb. they need repacking quite often.

What oil are you using? Synthetic is to strong for the 50 cc. we have had good results with a quality Mineral 2 stroke 70:1 still, . number 5 plug is good and re pack the exhaust no better . Air screw is 3 turns out on ours. Hope this helps

Beta Rev 50 ( The One With Gears) Fan
fan on nippers bike has only come on twice since xmas, new thermostat fitted and fan spins when thermostat is bypassed with a small wire. How would I know if engine is not over heating and the fan would cut in before it did.
