I have a snapped steering shaft on my 250 contact. How is it removed from the bottom yoke? Any help appreciated.

The arrowed part on pic 1 seems to catch

I am struggling with gear selection and wonder if the "spidery washer on the cam assembly is in the correct position. Also is there a setting for the selector arms? (second pic) Ignore lack of circlips as just put on for pic.

Just found the service manual which says petrol screw is 4 full full turns out.

Can anyone tell me the approx number of turns for the idle screw.

Hi, I am going to change the gearbox oil on my '98 250 easy, but am unsure of the capacity. Any help much appreciated.

I hope this won't turn into an I'm older than you thread but at 62 having no seat doesn't half play havoc with my back!!

Will be up at cowm in a couple of weeks. Am in an old gray VW camper.

After a 25 year rest I've got myself a '98 scorpa easy and have gone back to Back Cowm quarries in Whitworth Lancashire. Still as rubbish as I used to be but am having just as much fun.
