The wife's family live in Kent and we often visit. I ride in the eastern centre and would like to ride in Kent. What clubs ride in and around Rochester Maidstone area?
It looks like they have them on the sherco, gas gas, vertigo and trs. Apparently they are the boys to have. I'll check out the betas today at the world round.
I also noticed a lot if riders were using an Ohlins rear shock with a seperate oil reservoir too.
We have a demo model in the eastern centre. The design is nice, easy to work on. Clearly someone has thought about it. The only negative for me is the rear mudguard it is not very flexible should you bend it, I can see it breaking.
I had a go in the back garden of the owner and it did feel nice. Suspension especially. They could be on to a winner.
Forget all of those approaches, get yourself a vaccum pump. EBay for about 20 quid, and put it on the bleed nipples and pump away, whilst topping the reservoirs.
It was far better on Eurosports, for a) the commentary and the fact you can view it in HD.
Also, you will note that if you don't make it in the top ten, you don't get shown, which is annoying when you have up and coming British riders not getting any exposure. In fact TC don't show you where the riders are positioned during the world outdoor rounds if you fall outside of the top ten when giving lap by lap scpres. It would be nice to see all of the World Pro riders positions, after all if you have traveled to Japan to report, then please report what is in fact happening.
You will also notice that the first rider who is shown on Motors TV will be in tenth position and then ninth etc. So you get to know who finished sooner than you're told, (providing you have missed the results from TC etc).
We are here to support a small minority sport, yet, we are not being given what we want, so those that are behind the sport should expect to give a little bit more, as let's face it, a minority sport cannot afford to turn away, spectators, TV subscribers and fans who travel to events.
So please TC, let's have the results from all of the World Positions after each lap, after all these riders get there by having skill, big balls and commitment. Yet, we over look the last 5.
I was wondering what effect a titanium front pipe has on the engine characteristics, does it alter because these pipes are of different shape or material?
Or do they do nothing at all and are just aesthetically pleasing on the eye?
I had that issue too, so if I remember correctly, I cut the screw that goes into the master cylinder. I'll take a look tomorrow and confirm exactly, but I did think it was a poor design and should have been eliminated at the prototype stage.
I saw Bou stall the engine on Section 4, he couldn't get the bike started and it took at least 3 kicks. These kicks took place whilst remaining stationary for several seconds.
A cynic might say that the rider had Stopped.... However, the observer fiddles about with his cards and eventually made a decision... by this time Bou was up the top and dabbed once...
Have a guess what he scored... Ye you got it 1 mark dropped.
The compare on the Red Bull truck 'raved' about the move, stating how incredible it was, which it would have been had he not stopped, stripped the bike, done his boots up and scratched his ..... you get the point.
I pointed this out to the compare but he ignored my efforts.
I recently broke the rear lever (original gas gas), and I have replaced it with a patent part.
However, I have now managed to bend a further three of these patent parts.
I was wondering has anyone modified the original part, as I want to buy an OEM lever this time, but I really could do without breaking another one.
Has anyone got any tips for setting these up, should I be getting the front wheel higher whilst going over slabs of concrete. (eastern centre rider, so no rocks just slabs of concrete instead at certain venues).
