Hey, I have the same bike. And I'm looking for the same part. Funny huh. I noticed the common post for the Aprilia Climber Rotax 280R is, I'm looking for a CDI. Did you have any luck finding one. preferably one that isn't OEM. I wonder if these CDI's are just not meant to be over heated, or run to long at one time. When mine went out it was the first time I had packed extra gas and had been riding on the second fill up. Just and idea. I was going to take my old one apart to see what went wrong, but a wildfire burnt it up last summer. Has anyone else taken a cooked 280R cdi apart with success? OEM = $460 Uhhh NOT! gotta be a retro out there some where, Where?

Sorry I can't help you with the question, but I just broke my kickstart lever on my 16mm shaft and am in need of the clamp and lever. When I pulled the clamp the allen bolt on top busted off, so I drilled it out and when I went to retap it the tap broke off inside. The tap is to hard to drill into and now I'm stuck. Is your old one available if you still have it? Are you in the US? Thanks ( I hope ) Brandon
