Digga Put in an Iridium Plug but must be the "R" BP5RES I think is the designation. OSSA bikes in the hands of us clubman riders are so good pottering around that we do load them up a bit. A rev up every so often and us the iridium plug. Fuel and fuel over 95 RON but only get it from a high volume garage. As you need fresh fuel. 110 to 1 no less. Let the bike warm up (fan on) Mark

Hi Digga Been reading these comments and I did own a 2011 OSSA but reluctantly had to give it up as the clutch was too heavy for my damaged left hand. That bike was great, and yes it was a bitch to start and needed fore arms like Popeye to use the clutch. I had the chance to ride that same bike again a few weeks ago (owned by an A grade rider) and it is a pussycat, silky smooth, light clutch and easy to start. I now have a new Sherco 2011 SSDT that has just been traded on the new 2012 OSSA, won't go into the amount of carbie fiddling, I had to go through, but nice bike. The 2012 OSSA you rode, I had the pleasure of running that bike in, and what a gem, The 2012 is a huge improvement on the first OSSA, softer clutch easy start and very, very gentle. My nike is on the same slow boat as yours. However I am lucky as I have an OSSA SSDT model to test whilst waiting, and again a really great bike. Short story, You will love the bike, take time to run it in, change the oil after a couple of hours (lay the bike over to get the last 100mls out) - bed the suspension in and have fun Cheers - Mark

The OSSA Clutch has a good feel, bit heavy and bit hard to set. Would you be able to use a good synthetic ATF to lighten the pull. I put that in my new Sherco 250 and it made a huge difference. Clutch was really good at our last club trial, no grabbing or slip - mind you I only ride Clubman.

Will the 2012 OSSA have a lighter clutch and better access to the air filter. I think that this is an awesome bike, but those to areas in the 2011 model was not good. And yes I did own a 2011 OSSA and really want to get the 2012 model is these areas have been looked at

I put Nulon -full synthetic ATF in and noticed a difference almost straight away. Clutch seemed a bit lighter We have a trial on Sunday so will see. I noticed also the the bike started easier and idled better - although the engine rattled a bit more for a short while Thank you

Hi I need help, I have a new 2011 SSDT 250 and want to make the clutch pull lighter. I know that it is light now, but I have a very bad left hand (years of injuries take their toll). I have heard that you can either take out 2 springs or put washers in. Can someone please help me with this
