  1. My last combination were; idle jet : 35 Main Jet 124
  2. Hey guys! I have a problem with my Sherco 2010 that is really bugging me... When cold it runs fine, when warm, on throttle slightly open throttle it tends to like rocking, or jumping forward. In gear or neutral. Found a guy a video on youtube with a similiar problem, but on idle. But his problem was a sparkplug related. I have a new spark plug. cleaned out carb several times. Changed needle position and both idle jet, and main jet to lots of combinations. Running 98 octane with 2% synthetic oil. Works fine on family members gasgas:es. cleaned fuelpump and hoses transporting gasoline. Changing jets help slighty, but does not eliminate it... What could it be?
  3. Have you checked all the regular problems, like; air filter fresh gas, right amount of 2 stroke oil choke stuck gas wire hung up idle set to high? maybe wheather conditions are different than when you had a working engine. Maybe screw idle jet in, for leaner mixture a bit, and start without choke? helping out with start gas, just to see if it bangs?
  4. What color did the spark plug electrode have when removing it?
  5. Are you sure that ATF in forks wont foam? Fork fluid is designed to not foam while in travel within the fork, and thats why regular motoroil in damping systems is not OK?
  6. Thank you for the fast answers Did your 4t get that hot out of stock? The 4t has an CDI box for the ignition timing. And have a good spark too. It runs really good, no sputtering or something like that. Do the silencer have any damping wool at all? How did you clean the carbonized oil/gas in the silencer?
  7. Hi guys! Just recently bought a Sherco 320 2005 for a good price, with the regular starting problems. So, started of by adjusting the valve shims, and did a full service on the engine. Started good, but after a couple "high" rpm throttle openings the spark plug was dry fouling. After a while it would not even idle. Or start. So i changed the main jet to a smaller, and now it is running OK through the whole registry. And it is not the same bike. I still have a major concern about this. The muffler gets relly hot. So hot the muffler plastic guard melts if it pressed onto it. Is it supposed to be this way? The mixture is not to lean. Plug reading says chocolate brown to rich black. New sparkplug, cleaned airfilter, cleaned carb a couple of times, no clogging, nor in any hoses or vents. Fan and cooling is working, so not overheating or boiling anything. Sprayed start gas for any air leakage but cant find any. Gas tank pressure hose is ok. Any thoughts?
