I keep hearing things about pedrosa and him having a 40lb weight advantage over everyone else. And people say it will become a championship for jockeys....
But it was a great race to watch. Congratz to hayden for winning it twice in a row.
Atom, your right you guys are much better than we are! Your ladies champion just proved that by beating everyone in the USA but two of our best men, Cody and Geoff! That sort of puts US riding standards into perspective don't you think?
I looked at that twice, and am not sure what you're saying.
But, I put that stupid survey up so we can see how people stand instead of creating 352523523523535277696778091428924914812491 threads on the same damn topics.
The guy is old by trials standards, lacks drive except for his live show business and is not a good role model for young american athletes.
Maybe you ought to talk to him about drive. How do you know? And not a good role model? He's riding his best(has been for many years) and is also making a living out of it(which is what we'd all like to do, ride to make money and live off it).
He also doesn't set an example by yelling at checkers, roosting them, and throwing fits like some other riders I know.
Yes he makes a living at trials, but he has had no impact in the sport overall other than cherry picking a string of US national titles and creating a thriving demo business.
cherry picking? I guess lampkin cherry picked his 7 titles too...
I think next time we have a world round here in the USA, we should get all the pro riders, put them in a room, and make them watch the movie "Miracle" 3 times to get them pumped for riding the next day. Anyone for that?

Good event, technical sections, fun loop. What's better than that?
More riders, but yeah....
Can't wait for next year.
