  1. Opps , one more point I had intended to add to my previous post . The video in the originally posted link demo.wmv , is I think taken entirely or mostly from the Gatti Trials Artists dvd. If you download this clip you will see bits of the same video , http://210.236.174.160/move/art_1.wmv Unfortunately about half of this video clip is of Gatti working out in the gym . But the full Trials Artists dvd , is mostly him doing public demos or just out and about riding on or over whatever comes along - rather Steve Colleyesq - manmade walls, to inside freight trailers bouncing off the walls to larger boulders etc. A correction to the links at mitani-ms , if you go to the Lecture First Video page you get the correct link , if you go to the Trials Artist page you get the wrong link , what is gives is the same link as for Lecture First video , below are correct links to both. The links are correct to all videos from the main video web page , which also has some nifty clips from Japan Nationals - so you might want to check them out too . http://210.236.174.160/move/rec-1.wmv Lecture First http://210.236.174.160/move/art_1.wmv Gatti Trials Artists http://www.mitani-ms.com/shop/video/ main Mitani-ms video page , has Japan nationals vdieo clips , from 2004 David
  2. Not sure when the videos where made , on my laptop I downloaded the demo.wmv and the synchro.wmv video clips , December 2004 . And the extreme.wmv clip in Sept 2005 . So they've been around for a while. David
  3. I believe the rider is Gatti , he has a very good dvd called "Lecture First" http://www.mitani-ms.com/shop/video/2004/g...lecture.htm#dvd Here is link to a clip from the Lecture First dvd : http://210.236.174.160/move/rec-1.wmv (which is also from the mitani-ms web site. Gatti also has another video called Gatti Trials Artist http://www.mitani-ms.com/shop/video/2004/gatti-airtist.htm it is good too , but I much prefer the first one . He also has another video similar to the Lecture First dvd , it is called Lecture Zero , I would like to see it too, but I never found a way to order it . Here is a link to his home page : http://www.tomoyuki-ogawa.com/ http://www.tomoyuki-ogawa.com/info/video.html On the subject of Japanese Trials Videos , HRC/Fujigas have made two very good training videos . And the Trials Bible videos ,Volumes 1 - 4 , featuring Ken'ichi Kuroyama are all very good - Vol 4 is dvd , the first 3 are tapes. You can order them from Ikuno , at Trials Net Asia . Ikuno is apparently the producer of these Kuroyama videos and has a website , question-tv . Question-TV is a trials centered tv show in Japan - Ikuno has sent me a couple of tapes of his shows, complete with the commercials as broadcast there in Japan , good stuff ! http://www.geocities.jp/trialnet_asia/videos.html I believe on this web site Ikuno only shows the one HRC/Fujigas trials training video , but he has a second one also , he told me about it when I was ordering some of the other ones . So I got it too - sure you would get more out of them if you understood Japanese , but as they say - a picture is worth a thousand words , and a moving picture is worth more. Besides , after you watch them a few times you pick out a lot of English words amonst the Japanese,it is easy to hear - clutcheo , brakeo , etc. So you easily understand when they are trying to tell you to modulate the controls . --------------------------------------------------------------------- Another good video clip from the Mitani-ms site is : http://210.236.174.160/move/xtreme.wmv 16.3Mbyte enjoy, David
  4. Here is a correct link to the Martin Crosswaite Section 8 video clip ; http://www.trialscentral.com/video/brian/2..._Crosswaite.wmv At least for me the original link did not work . David
  5. Thanks , It's good to hear that the links provided useful information as well as entertainment . BTW - I have a yellow Gaser too . A TXT 200 , probalby all I'll ever need , at least it fits my beginner skills thus far anyway . David
  6. Perhaps this information will be of interest . Ryosuke Ikuno in Japan , at Traials Net Asia and questiontv has sent me the following links to trials in China , http://www.qcql.com/chinese/2005/race/5080707.htm http://www.qcql.com/chinese/2005/race/5080704.htm Poking around the above web site I found this link too , http://www.qcql.com/chinese/2005/race/2005jq_hl.htm Which has links to other images of the same Aug 8 th trials event , of which the following link is the most interesting http://www.qcql.com/chinese/2005/race/5080702.htm - several good images of demos in the parking lot . Or perhaps this link is the more interesting , ;-) http://www.qcql.com/chinese/2005/race/5080706.htm The first link has about 70 pictures of action in the sections , the second link has 20 images , mostly of the riders , and a few other images . Ikuno said the links where provided by a friend at the BetaShop in Hong Kong , Madison Motorcycle Intl Ltd. I can't display Chines language characters on my PC , nor could I read them I if could . But it is said a picture is worth a thousand words . So fun to look at anyway . For those who can read it there appears to be links to other trials information there . Ikuno indicated in his email that he will be attending an event in Hokkaido , then traveling to the WTC in Belgium & TDN and would be away from Japan during the rest of Sept . best regards , David

Gatti is Tomoyuki Ogawa . Here is a link to his web page : http://www.interq.or.jp/sun/hitoh/ You can also goto the links page of trialsnet Asia : http://www.geocities.co.jp/Athlete-Acropolis/2540/links.html And click on the English translation of the above link , where you can read some of the information about him , such as Profile and History . Though some of the excite translation into English is a little odd in places . I have copies of two of his DVDs , " Gatti Lecture First " , which is quite good IMO . Though the audio is all in Japanese the visuals are good enough that I have gotten alot out of it with out understanding the language . Actually after viewing this and other Japanese trials videos I find that I can pick up alot of the audio instruction , there are many English words worked into the language , such as brakeo , clutcheo , etc. ( I also have the four volumes of Kenichi Kuroyama's Trials Technique Bible Vol 1 - 4 , though only Vol 4 is on DVD . I recommend highly them too ) The other Gati DVD I have is "Gatti Trials Artist" . It is ok and intended just for fun viewing , but I like the other DVD much more . He also has another DVD which I have not seen , " Gatti Lecture Zero" . Hope this was of some help . best regards, David
