  1. Yeah have to agree. A cracking trial yet again. Many thanks to all involved, especially the observers who stood out all day in the cold. Some looked really cold (Liam!). To be fair to Eiger he didn't need a lot of encouragement to dab in some sections All in all a very enjoyable day. Thanks!

    2007 Beta

Yeah, according to Beta website, the 07 125 is fitted with a Mikuni carb. Hope this is not the case. It a nice to ride a Beta that uses its petrol rather than leaving it all over the countryside!!!!

    Rev3 125

Stu I also had the same thoughts as you in March this year, except I went a bought new Beta 125. Everyone thought this was a crazy idea, going from a Beta 270 to a 125!! However, I haven't ridden the 270 since! I'm 11 stone and find the 125 has plenty of power for me and believe I do ride it better then the 270. It has the racing kit fitted (available from John Lampkin) which includes different jets for the carb, a different middle box for the exhaust plus you can fully advance the timing for even more power(which I haven't done). I am more than impressed with the 125 and would recommend one to anyone considering one!
  4. I totally agree with the organisers decision to cut the event short. However, I have to say I REALLY enjoyed the first few sections!! Although it was like riding on ice (in the sections as well as the roads!). Once again many thanks to all the hard work put in by everyone involved. It was a shame for those guys who had travelled some distance but at least we rode 9 sections!!
  5. Many thanks John, that's a big help and saved me a lot of time. Cheers
  6. Can anyone recommend a good <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> nearby? Looking at travelling down on Saturday and stopping overnight, coming back Sunday afternoon.

    Titanium Hangers

I got some footrests but no hangers about 3 months ago. They look great, feel much better than standard Beta footrests and look cool!! Well worth the money. Not heard any bad reports about them!
  8. I'm thinking about going to watch the St David's British round. Anyone know exactly where the venue is? Is it far to walk round? Are the section accessible? Having been to see the Lochaber and Bradford rounds last, wouldn't mind a weekend away in Wales!
