Never rode a trials bike until today when BVM in Stroud kindly let me ride a 6 month old bike in their car park. Fantastic - loved it to bits and think I will buy it tomorrow. Stupid or what?! Only other option seems to me to be a new 05 Sherco. There are some discounted bikes around at just a few hundred pounds more than the used 05 Gas Gas. Since I have never ridden before I think it is irrelavent which I buy and I may as well save the money - that is my view. Any body think differently?
Comments much appreciated - thanks guys. Think I'll go and have a look in the morning. Will take a few hours and some diesel but it will ad to the knowledge. Steep learning curve this!
I've seen one advertised by a dealer at what seems a reasonable price but before I travel a long way to view would appreciate any advice. Is it a reasonable first bike, what faults should I look for, value? Etc.
