Sherco 125 2015. Just wondering how important it is to tighten the clutch centre nut to the coerce torque. Or is it ok to just tighten it. I had marked its position in relation to the shaft but it got rubbed off. Cheers.

Thanks, was out looking at the bike again this morning. Gear lever not hitting anything. It shifts in to 1 st and 2 nd no problem, but I noticed that if, when in 2nd, I push the lever down half a click it will then shift up to 3rd. Same procedure seems to work to select 4th and 5th gears. It seems to shift down the gears no problem. Does this description fit in with the advice in the above replies?

Sherco 125 2015. All of a sudden unable to select 3rd gear, 4th or 5th gear. 1st and 2nd, no problem. No obvious problem, noises. Any ideas appreciated? Thanks.

Son was riding his bike and all of a sudden could not select 3rd gear. Can select 1st and 2nd no problem. No rattles or anything obvious. The gear shift lever just won't move past 2nd gear. Any thoughts on what might be wrong? Cheers.

I have a 2015 125 Sherco here which usually runs fine , untill I was out riding yesterday and a strange crunching noise began to come from the front sprocket area, however this only occurs when I pull in the clutch in gear and attempt to push the bike forward. This also happens when I use the engine brake. Can anybody help or suggest what may be wrong ?

Just wondering if all thermostats for a 125cc trials bike activate the fan at similar temperatures. I have a Sherco 125 2015 and wondered if a thermostat from another bike would be suitable, or are all thermostats specific to the bike they are fitted.

Looking to put new graphics on my Sherco 125 2006. Just wondering if decals from other years would fit. Cheers

Thanks for the advice. How tight should the chain be.

Just fitted a new chain to my beta evo 125. It seems very loose even with the snail cams at their longest setting. Are chains sold at a standard length for the buyer to remove links as required or should I wait until the chain has stretched a little until I remove a link. What's the worst that can happen with a loose chain?
