  1. Why not have a promotion /relegation system like football. Top 3 finishers in Trial2 get to move up to trial Gp with some funding help for the first year from FIM, enough that they can also practice every day to help bridge the skill gap, whilst bottom 3 from trial Gp get relegated to Trial2.
  2. Perhaps Mr Beta has listened to our advice and enlisted Toby Martyn to showcase the 4t in the T2 championship??
  3. As the T2 championship was determined by this, I'm kinda guessing that if the FIM wanted to do the right thing it would have been done swiftly, the lack of any further FIM or sport 7 statement yet speaks volumes.

I must admit at first I felt like imexian regarding Gp riders dropping down to T2, but then after a while I thought, perhaps not such a bad thing... riders rarely get 1 chance to get into the Gp class but then often a bad luck season, funding issues or injury ruins there 1 season to prove they belong there, dropping back to T2 gives them a lifeline back to a competitive team and if they dominate T2 then they may get another shot at the Gp class. Also it makes T2 that much more competitive perhaps bridging the skills gap a bit more for those that do move up. It's also another low cost chance for wildcards to prove themselves ready to move up from the national scene, which in turn raises the game at national level etc, etc. However for a pro who regularly finishes top 10 to drop back to T2 seems like some one just trophy hunting, not exactly hero material.
  6. The 300rr montesa is good at T2 level, but not convinced its competitive in Gp level. Ferrer hasn't been performing in Gp level. Perhaps Price or Martyn to partner Gelabert at factory Sherco while the other takes the junior Gasgas seat?? Would be nice if Beta followed Gas Gas example and fielded a Junior team in Gp?
  7. Ok perhaps a bit early... But that time is approaching when we start to wonder who will be moving seats and riding for what team in which championship class??? So What's everyones rumour, geusse, or just plain wish list?

  9. Why not get top trial team back for a Junior team in T2 with 4t's, they can sell the works tune up kits to privateers like they used to. Come on Mr Beta think you could be missing a trick here! Incidentally, I think more wild cards in T2 would be great for promoting new talent, and viewing interest, it used to work well "back in the day" with superbikes and super sport.

Just wondering what with the montesa 300 dominating in Trial2 this year against the 250 2t's... then will Beta be looking at putting someone competitive on their 300 4t for some great exposure potential. I would think that if needed, a little tuning with the carb and engine compression on the Evo factory model could make it competitive at T2 and/or national championship level.
