  4. New video of the vertigo 300 Nitro from a clubmans perspective. Hope you enjoy,
  5. Thanks, hopefully bump into you when you get out and trialing!
  6. The new episode is out later tonight, was a difficult trial to film out mainly because i forgot my bigger bag and had to use my bumbag type. Which with a camera bouncing around in there is a little difficult. Want to try and speak to more people at the next trial i do, if you see the camera head over for a chat! 8. Thanks Mark very kind words. Yes the trials scene is full of great characters, and do make interesting viewing. I am attending another trial this sunday so hoping to get it out early next week. Again, thanks for the kind words.
  9. Hi all! I have recently started to put a series together on Youtube aimed at clubman riders on my media page (br8 media). Trying to purely aim at clubman level riders (as myself) and talking to you the riders is something thats maybe missing at the moment from the web. I love the stuff the other media channels are doing on youtube and are a subscriber and viewer myself, but this will follow me around to different trials across the country talking about clubman "stuff" filmed on a high quality camera for everyone's ease of viewing. If you have any feedback or things you think should be covered then please yell! Here is the link anyway, hope you enjoy. 'Tales of a clubman' TOAC - Barnsley Trials Club- Hooten Lodge - YouTube
  10. I am looking forward to it, just want to give myself the best chance of getting as far as i can.
  11. Could i juts put a tow rope on you John? after years of watching you seem to know your way around lol On a serious note though, what is the general going/difficulty of sections? Iv rode a few years of extreme enduros so the pain iv felt in that should relate slightly....i hope.
  12. Hi appreciate this, i wasn't sure of section difficulty, i ride clubman course normally but never rode any national or higher end events. Im hoping because of my tall nature and being relatively strong i can push and pull it when i get stick if thats the case...until my arms cant take anymore.
  13. Hi all, So this year will be my first ever scott, excited, nervous and a load more emotions are currently running through my mind. I have a good friend who has rode the scott numerous times and tried to explain how he sees it and the best ways to prepare. I am in no way looking to finish as after watching it for the last ten years i know just how hard it is. Just wanted to pick the brains of people that have rode the event before or locals on what to exactly expect. How to train? What to expect in sections? Mental approach? The going between sections? Pacing yourself? bike prep? All these questions and so much more, i will be riding a 4RT so any bike specific advice would also be welcome.
  14. Hi, im currently doing this to my 315, just wondering though, what decal kit did you buy? I will obviously have the front and rear mudguard from the 4rt, but the other stickers ie the frame etc will be for the 315. Did you just adapt a 4rt kit or did you buy 315 specific decals? Regards
  15. From trials bike breakers on ebay, new little end bearing and gaskets, just seems to make a scraping noise from the barrel....or seems to be, but noy sure if this is just normal engine noise from the earlier modes.
  16. They were on ebay, barrel, piston and rings set.
  17. Again, bloody perfect bit of info, and the plus is i have a shock pump at home!!
  18. Thanks for that, you think that is where the noise could be coming from? Also has anybody any idea of how easy the forks are to service, paiola ones not showa, and same with the rear shock, will it need gassing or just a good clean and looking over.
  19. Thanks for that, so you dont think it could be the mains etc? I dont know if there is a way of checking without splitting it open.
  20. Morning all, Bought a 97 315 the other day with a top end rattle, seems all pretty original. Managed to source a barrel, piston and rings from ebay which is in good condition. Replaced the little end bearing, gaskets etc etc. Put it all back together and the rattle from the top end has seemed to have gone, but now i can seem to hear a noise but not sure where from, just doesnt sound quite rite. Pulled the cover off and had a pull and play with the flywheel and doesnt seem to have any play in it. The big end on the conrod didnt seem to have any play in it also. So.....Just wondering what it could be? is there anything else that seems to make these engines noisey? Iv had plenty of trials bike and enduro bike but always been modern, so not up with the older stuff, The engine seems to pick up really slow from the bottom end but i do have some boyesen reeds on the way which i am hoping will improve this. Any info or common problems with the engines or the carbs i am happy to hear. Regards,
  21. Hi, It's an 09 evo, is it not something you can do yourself? Thanks
