Wye Valley A.C. chose not to apply for a round for next year. The Trevor Hunt Trophy will instead be run along the lines of yesterdays excellent 'Classic Experts Trial' in Rhayader Two routes, Expert and Clubman, with classes for Pre 65's and Twinshocks, and hopefully those 'classic' riders put off by the severity in 2009 will return in 2010.

A fortnight ago myself and pitley cleared out Pont-yr-ynys and we've just spent today with other WVAC members clearing out the sections at Tremorithic. All I can say is these are straight up, no messing about, natural sections. This trial is not one to be missed. Two laps of twenty fantastic sections. If you like rocks you're gonna love this trial. . If you've got an entry to the Scottish this'll be a great warm up and if you haven't then there's a great two days of action here with the Victory Trial the day after the Traders .

Yes, the Chadney is STILL ON. you can find the regs/entry form on Western Centre website, www.acuwesterncentre.org.uk , they're on the Home Page, but for some reason not on the Event Calendar. Getting this sorted.

Couldn't agree more with Martin and Woody , its definately against the whole spirit of twinshock trials. Get yourself over to the Wye Valley Classic Trial on 13th August, Pitley puts on a cracking trial suitable for the classic machines (and classic riders).

Heres some useless information about "Trem" if your interested. Sorry Martin but S.S. never actually cleaned all the subs at Tremorithic, Pre 1991 Trem was 5 continuous subs, then the ACU changed the rules and 5 became 4 (2 double subs) with dead ground in between. Rob Sartin (J.C.M. I think) was the most recent rider (1990)to ride all 5 subs continuously for just 1 mark. Then in 1991 Kiwi Stefan Merriman (Aprilia) became the first and only rider to clean Trem, but there was only 4 subs with that much needed rest in between
