  1. Nice one, i dont blame you. Is yours a 200cc with electronic ignition? or are you running points?
  2. there was a ty majesty for sale, jonny it was yours was it not? how come you pulled it at the last moment??
  3. Well its needing doing so i would like to put a stainless steel front header exhaust pipe on, thing is i cant seem to track one down, or anybody that sells them, has anybody used one from a xr200 or similar bike in the honda range? would it make any difference if i had one made up in slightly bigger diameter tube, would this do anything to the performance of my bike, as the bike has just got a ally back box but no middle box under the air box its just connected straight onto the front header pipe... your help please
  4. i have noticed that my TLR 200 bike has a ally rear exhaust pipe but no centre box, its connected straight to the header pipe, was wondering if this makes any difference to the performance of the bike, It was like that when i brought it, Do you need the centre box for anything ? prehaps it makes it a bit quiter? thanks
  5. Know what ya mean! At the mo my bike is set 9 front sprocket an 46 rear, seems to work well as it makes 2-3 a nice usable gear with plenty of juice in reserve if needed. I guess i am lucky in not being to tall 5-8" so i think i will first get some wider pegs an see how that goes, then i might just lower the pegs by an 1" was thinking of some hebo pegs, any other suggestions?
  6. Positioning is all down to personal preference really, how you like to ride, how tall etc. I've ridden a few TLRs and they are like most bikes from that era, too high for me leaving me hunched over the bars, but I'm over 6' so the lower the better. Don't know exactly how much they are moved with this kit but it bolts to the original footrest hangers which you should be able to see in the picture and get an idea of the distance the new mounting position is away from the original. Colin is about 5' 8" and he says his own bike which he hasn't had chance to do yet (a 250) is not as nice to ride as the modified one Thanks again woody, will have a look at bike tonight an see which option looks best to use!. Now changing the topic i have noticed that my bike has a ally rear exhaust pipe but no centre box its connected straight to the header pipe, was wondering if this makes any difference to the performance of the bike, It as like that when i brought it, Do you need the centre box for anything ? prehaps it makes it a bit quiter? thanks
  7. Thanks woody, will check it out.. do you know how much the pegs have been moved? An does it really make that much difference to ride?
  8. Just wondering if any of you guys that ride a tlr have changed the position of the foot pegs? if so what would you suggest, making up new plates to move pegs lower an rearward, or just weld new mounts onto the frame? i over heard a conversation the other day where one guy suggested moving 1" lower an about 2" further back, that to me looks a bit much! Over to you ,)

    Mini Majesty

I fitted the sammy miller wide foot rests on my mini majesty frame, i recall welding a bolt on the back of the plates to bolt to the frame an bending the foot brake till it fitted! didnt have any major problems, the spring is a bit of a fiddle but thats all, it has been working fine for the last few yrs!! Good luck..

    Mini Majesty

Can anybody shed some light on the mini majesty, compared to the standard ty175 majesty? i bought one out of the local paper bout 5 yrs ago an it has a mini majesty frame! Its nice to ride think it has ty250 front forks on to as they seem a bigger dia than the 175 ones.. Has anyone rode one, back to back? i guess i am lucky in being only 10/5 stone the bike suits me well.. Over to you
