  1. thats what i thought but obviusly theres some carefull posties out there cos mine is luverly, ive put some corsa sxi alloys on and gone right through her and she only needed oil/air/deisel filters, oil, front brake pads and a waterpump total bill for bits was about
  2. been a while since i was 17!! but have just sold a vw transporter (loverly van) and bought an 03 reg ex postie vauxhall combo that is mint and only paid 3k with 35k miles, my sherco fits in no probs, has rubber floor is lined and has 6 tie down points, it drives like a car because it is, is very cheap to insure and run + being 17 you could fit large alloys + other corsa bits ect ect, why have anything bigger!!. on a lower budget my brother in law has an older shape combo and he fits his sherco in the back no probs (and that has an LPG tank in the way!). if you remove the false floor + bulkhead in an old combo (a few pop rivets) you can actually get two bikes in the back ive seen it done! insurance is gonna be a killer on anything tho but bite the bullet mate we have all been there, hope this helps.
  3. have pm'd you mate look forward to hearing from you
  4. who does the real carbon swingarm protectors? how much and are there any pics of them?
  5. this is true by running a rich oil mix you are replacing fuel which burns well, with oil that doesnt, therefore weakening the fuel mixture causing the engine to run hotter which then cakes up with sludgey part burnt oil. 50:1 is not a problem if you must, but through my experience running slightly less oil makes em run sweater
  6. i run 80cc of ipone to 5ltr of super unleaded always have always will, runs superb (06 290). ipone oil bottles have a handy measuring thingy where you squeeze the oil you want into a seperate part of the bottle then pour it into the fuel, has any one seen how much oil a two stroke bottom end collects even at 75-1!! it will be fine unless your going motocrossing! dont worry.
  7. wot about a cool van? this is my vw transporter superb machines they are
  8. frame is indeed thickly powder coated it has small thick stickers for where your boots rub ive added a bit more protection with sticky real carbon fibre everything seems to be nicely finished, there is a lot of space around the engine you could probably change the piston without taking the tank off!
