  9. i doubt that it will cost
  10. the clutch cover is warped on my 06 290 it has leaked oil for ages and lets water in when washing turning the oil milky, gonna try and skim it on a lathe or face it on a flat plate anyone else had this problem and how much is a new cover, (i only have 2.3mm of depth to play with which is the difference between the clutch dissengaged and the inner face of the cover, the cover is warped by 0.5mm between the bottom two bolts so if i can't skim it im gonna need a new one!)
  11. ok! in that case what about drain and refill of the front forks, what weight oil and quantity in each leg? and the easiest way to drain and fill em, cheers.
  12. is there any way of bleeding built up air from the 06-07 front fork? there doesnt appear to be any bleed screws!
  13. stump magnet replied to essex rider's topic in Sherco
it wasnt the trapped air in the fork that caused the crash! it was trying to do a travis pastrana style double backflip up a greasy hillclimb that caused it
  14. think you might have a small mud blocking problem with those!
  15. good god i cant believe it she just read your posts and just ordered me a set of raptors what a girl! i feel a bit guilty now or maybe thats her plan

  17. ok if someone can convince me wife then that would be the battle won and a set of raptors would be on there, does anyone know the price of the trialcontrol pegs? what are the best value pegs out there?
  18. cant decide which pegs to replace my now worn out alu ones on my 06 sherco (cant sharpen them any more!) have looked at the hebo ones and the ghost ones but also like the look of the new jitsie ones with the replaceable grub screw teeth (so no more sharpening) and at
  19. you can turn up and ride just give david cordle a ring first to make sure. mark has made me a set of those swingarm guards but full length with sherco on them
  20. you sad man are you riding the ipswich club trial on 11th at raydon?
  21. when you get the 07 shock you may have to file a small part of the alloy away around the top eye bolt to fit it in to the frame, the 07 has the shock upside down to the 06 as it has a different swingarm but the 07 shock will not fit the 06 swingarm that way up, dont worry it is very easy to do and only takes ten mins, dont tamper with the frame though, the only disadvantage is that the rebound adjuster is now at the top and to get to it requires taking the airbox out, at least it wont get full of crap and seize up! i set mine to 5 turns from fully in and seems to be fine, im still playing with preload though as i aint sure what the sag should be set to, any one got any ideas?
  22. if your rear shock has packed up speak to MRS as they sorted me out a new 07 rear shock for
  23. ok, how much to make the longer 06 ones?
  24. mark, can you make some which go the full length of the 06 swingarm with the logo? i had the other shorter ones from you a while ago and there still on my mates bike no probs but i would like some longer ones for mine i have some trick-bits.com ones at the moment but they get full of crap and cause more damage than none at all! cheers mark
  25. can someone please tell me what thread size the flywheel puller needs to have for an 06 290? i think it is 28X1.5mm as i have a 27X1mm and its too small cheers guys.
