desperate for help. i have a trial sunday, i've fitted a new fan but i cant find 12 volts to connect it to and there's no existing wiring. i've found the rectifier and the part with a single yellow wire (regulator?). it's an iskra regulator if that helps. if any one can guide me how to connect it i will be eternally grateful. I've pulled the packing from the exhaust and it was like an oily rag!! Now repacked and ready for action

Now that's what I call a definitive answer. Now I know I need 62.5 ml per 5l of fuel. Previous owner ran 75ml per 5l which is probably why I've got spooge from the exhaust. Many thanks Carl

just to be clear thats 80ml of oil for 5l of fuel? is that right

Thanks 0007. Carb is off for a clean. When you say mix is too conservative do you mean not enough fuel or oil. And fan is on order £120 ouch. Thanks again

Hi chaps, I've just bought a cheap beta techno 250. The first issue I need help with is the oil like substance leaking from where the rear silencer joins the centre section. Do I need to do rings or something else. The other issue is that the cooling fan is missing. Is it necessary or can I do without it for now. Thanks in advance Carl

Hi chaps, I'm after starting trials after years of road bikes and green laning. There is a gas gas jtx270 on eBay that has had a 330 engine fitted. I know engines and service all my own vehicles but I wondered if this would be a good starter or is it too much for a first bike. All opinions welcome. Thanks in advance Carl
