After a set of montesa 315 fan blades as have two snapped off which other bikes share the same blade and not keen on spending £50 on a new fan set up

Right bought a flywheel puller i checked the coils for damage and resistance checked the stator loom all good re done all the earth connections as some of the wires where down few strands install a bridge rectifier like this took it for blast round the block and the rectifier what that big sliver thing ? and the extra resistor in there for ? think my fault must be with the transval 415 voltage regulator just order a new one as suggested but under load getting a steady 5v dc from digital meter to the fan

Not good news put new rectifier on started bike and it blew it to bits getting 14v ac before the rectifier any clue what else to check ?

just got a rectifier and coil this evening so at the weekend going to swap out and test at the weekend and will report back

thanks just a quick question the cdi and voltage regulator under the head stock which way they fit back in as took the bolt out both dropped down so fail the coil is it cdi on the left or right as you stand over the bike ?

Think I found the fault I am getting 20v dc @ the fan motor side could this cause the bike to cut out when hot and is this just the rectifier or stator if the rectifier where the best place to get a new one ?
