  1. Thanks for the replies, both of you! Is there anything i should take with me in my van to the trial when i do decide to go? At the moment i am unable to go to the trials as i am only 16 and ride a 290cc bike but next year i will be able to so these next few month i will train, and then next year give it my best shot in the competitions! I ride a few times a few, probably likes three times a week, maximum! So in total around 12 hours per week of training! I do have 1 riding buddy who is perfect for me to ride with as he just a little better than me but not too much better than me that the sections are unavailable for me to do but with him being a tiny bit better than me it brings the competitive side of me out and makes me try even harder to get a clean over the course or makes me do a bigger rock or log etc. I use the gym regularly and i only do cardio to keep myself in shape! Mokwepa, how hard is the intermediate route over there?? Thanks for replying guys!
  2. So mokwepa, remember when you put the video of you doing the big tire?? Well, i thought wouldn't it be better to analyse your technique if it slowed down, so i did a little editing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbaslNsrU4s
  3. Oright, so i am off out on the bike tonight! Hopefully it will be a good session! I shall try and get some videos for you lot!
  4. Oright guys, so i used to do trials a while back on a 125cc gasgas but i lost interest so sold it.. Anyway recently i bought a beta evo 2011 290cc and was wondering how much preparation and training it will take before going back into the trials? I need to know what kind of things should i take with me to the trial? Anything essential, other than extra fuel? And i want to ride the intermediate route eventually so how much training (i train twice a week) will that take to get to that level approximately?
  5. Well i hope you do very well! the training you put in for it it unreal!
  6. And then after getting paid to tell people irrelevant stuff like that, get to ride your bike in any free time you have, damn life can be good to some of us
  7. Yeah you might want to get yourself a reinforced spring
  8. Hmm, i am not too sure this is your first day ever on the bike? Either that or you have rode motorbikes before, no way can you learn clutch and rear brakes and then go on to do that all in your first day!!
  9. That video of the supermoto... Shear quality my friend! All i can say is that you have some serious talent!!
  10. In all honesty i don't think i wana a newer bike, i love how this rides would just like to add a few 'trick bits' to it so it stands out from the standard beta evo
  11. Thank you very much for the video! Really gave me some ideas as to what i can do if i get some land to practice on which hopefully i do!
  12. Oright so i have some videos from when i was a bit younger and was riding a 125 gasgas, however i quit for a while and then got back into it so i haven't really improved since them videos were taken, i shall figure out how to add videos a little later
  13. Such a beautiful place in the world to live in!!
  14. So i am done for the night, bike is running perfect. Made a few adjustments to the brake and clutch levers, wasn't liking were they were on the fingers etc. So i moved them out a little and also loosened the main bolt so that with a little pressure i can move them up or down with my bare hands! Also made an effort to give the carb a good clean! 3 Months till Christmas, then i will get my goodies for her!
  15. No problems! Keep up the hard work, it pays off!! May i ask, what software do you use to edit them?
  16. Okay guys, so linked to this post is three pictures of my Beta Evo 2011. Two of them are the overall bike and one of the engine area. Because i am not able to afford a new bike, I was wandering if any of you guys know anything i can do to this bike to make it look that little bit nicer or even make it run smoother. Not got loads of cash to spend, probably a maximum of around £300 for one item. A new sticker kit has been ordered so that suggestion is already out the window ha ha but any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
  17. What is the clutch cover? Could you possibly link it?
  18. Hahaha Well everyone likes to do different things and if that's what zippy likes then fair enough
  19. Good job on the balancing act by the way, i would like to get to that stage one day!!
  20. Finding it great, in fact i have only rode it twice! I just can't get out on it, i have no where to go! Here in the UK it is really hard to find somewhere to practice and the garden isn't big enough so i am a little stuck:( But the bike itself is great! Just wish i could ride it more!
  21. Wow, seems like such a beautiful place to live! An area to ride, a place to live and a surrounding of some outstanding animals! Very rude of him to not stay for the whole show though!
  22. Some sweet riding there! The progress being made is outstanding! I just wish i could practice like you can, even just three times a week would be good!!
  23. Well i am his son and today we just practiced stationary balancing with no engine in the garden. Might consider trying it with the wheels pumped up tomorrow!
