A great day out. The galleries on the first lap were enormous but thinned out rapidly for lap two. The chairs were as always the stars of the day!! Got loads of pics as well as video footage (mostly sidecars). I'll edit it up at some point. UB:)
  2. Video Gallery is worth a look too, for those with broadband.
  3. Thanks John. What a shame it's no longer produced though as you say it looks as though the Magazine Man has a fairly comprehensive stock of back issues. I've ordered a couple more as they are so loaded with pics and info. Cheers for the link. Rob
  4. Just got my grubby mitts on two issues of the 'Offroad Review'(Nos 70 and 71 to be precise) published 1999 by Ariel Publishing. These are excellent, offering a wealth of interesting articles and superb quality photographs of classic off road action from ancient to more modern times. I've never come across these before and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if they are still published. I can't find any reference to them on Google so I suspect they may not be but does anyone know for sure? TIA for any info, and happy new year to all...
  5. TBH it didn't cross my mind as I had made all the contects I needed already that day. Oops...
  6. That's interesting, I'm currently building an Otter C15. It's in Mr Weedy's workshop at the moment having the awkward bits done (exhaust system made up, wheels and forks grafted on). Did you build yours from scratch also? What centres/events do you plan to ride?
  7. There was a Dutch guy at Kempton Park last weekend who had a complete alloy engine lurking in a box. He was a racing frame maker for Triumph and Norton motors so might have let it go for a good price. I didn't ask how much.
  8. There was a nice one on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Went for 535 quid though...
  9. Not too mention widening the swinging arm and back wheel hub to get the clearance for a 4.00 tyre.
  10. Hello. Yes, he had loads of them last time I saw him at Kempton. Very light indeed (but quite pricey)
