  2. Firstly I'm new to this please help I think I've got my carb set wrong ... It's not high revving at idle or cutting out but is jerky when in gear and low revs. How do I know if I'm set right on carb . All jets are clear and the carbs been stripped and cleaned. Running normal unleaded . Thanks
  3. Hi Jon . When I bought the bike the fuel screw on the carb was all the way tightened up . I've backed it off 3 and half turns now . The problem I am getting is the bike jerks forward when pottering around at low speeds when accelerating its fine . It's the low end revs when noticeable . It's driving me crazy . I've got the air screw set so it does not cut when idle and does not try to rev .. Am I wrong .. HELP !!
  4. Thinking of putting a boyeson reed valve on my txt pro 280 2002 . It seems a little juddery at bottom end of revs in all gears really . Is the boyeson reed worth the 35 quid price tag. Will it smooth things out a. Bit . I've already serviced carb . New filter and plugs . Any input appreciated nice one

  9. Hi can anyone help . I'm a new rider and have bagged myself a gas gas txt pro 280 2002 model. I've done loads to this bike since I got it a month ago. Discs , pads , full service , bearings , chain sprockets and much more. When I'm pottering about on it though it seems a little jerky at low revs in low gears . .ive stripped the carb down and all jets are spot on and clean ans chain seems tight enough. It's almost like this beast just wants to go all the time. Is this normal. Any help much appreciated . Chris
