  1. Hi and welcome lselph. First thing, and this is important, are your bars steel or the more recent aluminium alloy type? if they are the alloy, then bin them and buy new ones. The old alloys fatige and if you have give them a good bend in one direction and then bent them back they are almost certainly very weak (compared to new). If they let go at exactly the wrong time, you could be very badly injured indeed. If they're steel. your good to go. But please replace the aluminium alloy ones. About the position, get along to a trial meet and talk to someone, they're all great people and most will be happy to let you have a stand on their bike (probably not running) after the meet to get and idea as to a normal bar position.   2. Yes it's normal... No it's not supposed to happen. The drilling mod that is in these forums and here: http://www.kdmototrials.com.au/Tech_MIKUNIFix1.pdf addresses this specific issue. The float height is related but mostly about idle/ low revs quality. It's free (no cost) to set correctly. The float extension is for the opposite problem to what you have, its for extended up hills so that the bowl has a bit more volume and picks up lower (meaning it can still draw fuel at a sharper incline. Before you do the drilling mod ensure that your breathers/ overflow are free and that the one on the exhaust side hasn't melted and pinched off. So if you do the float height and check your breather/ overflows are clear I would be very surprised if you needed the drilling mod, but if you do, thats what its for. It essentially raises the level at which the overflows start to bleed, which on the extreme nosewheely angle is too low, as from the factory. Cheers, Chris.

    Hi from down under. I don't know how severe your knock is, but a new plug is always good value. Factory recommend the champion ny7cc, which = NGK BP7ES (both off the top of my head). Regardless of how you fix it, be sure to post your solution! Cheers, Chris.
  4. Hi Neon. I dont know what year your bike is but I have an 04 Rev3. I think they are all extremely similar (not sure about 07) I have changed the original lever and new ones quite a few times (05-06 levers are longer on both sides of the pivot). To remove the lever you pull it backwards. To replace them I have to take a screw out of the bottom of the plastic guide to let it move sideways a bit, the chain stays on. I think someone mentioned breaking teh plastic?, That may be a different guide then. If you have REALLY badly bent the lever, then that may be a problem, otherwise once you have all the bolt, nut, and pedal bit off Get on the left hand side of the bike, lean accross on the rear subframe pull on the swingarm to compress the rear suspension, then wiggle the lever back and up. pay attention when it comes out, getting it back in is trickier!.
