ron i would love to have that caliper from you if still have it just let me know how you want payment etc.. i have a paypal account if that will help. also im very new to riding trials im not very good at it i have wanted to do it for years but never really had access to it until i finally got my beta and its really fun to ride and im hoping it will help me with my woods riding for sure. and i would like to try competing in trials also and i would like to go to the stra events i just have to see if it will work with family stuff.. also im up for riding just let me know so far the only place i have ridden is in my yard and at the back of my neighborhood... also thanks for all the advice about the brakes i changed the pads and that helped but not nearly good enough so im sure interested in the caliper and i will check the back brakes tomorrow.

changing plastics on a techno ? are trials bikes like other mx bikes in that you can get different color plastics etc to really change the way your bike looks? if so are there aftermarket cataloges for such things and other parts. im sorry if its a dumn question just used to the way offroad bikes have alot of stuff you can change around to make the bike more your own. thanks. mines a 97 techno if that matters

i dont have any trials around me so no place to really shop for parts does anyone know what brake pads cross over to the beta techno? maybe something i could get at a regular bike shop.. and thanks for the advice i will change the pads and fluid i was just wanting to make sure they werent normal because i really thought they would work much better than they do.

Ok i finally got a trials bike after years of wanting and searching I got a 97 beta techno yes the purple one now maybe its just me but the brakes dont really work that great it is almost impossible to lock up the rear tire even with clutch pulled and the front is really the same way you really have to use two fingers on lever to do a stoppie any help or suggestions i have cleaned them scuffed them and made them very hot and poored water on them and that kinda worked for a little bit but still not good. help please. thanks.

my techno does the same thing on deceleration right? its probably the octane of fuel he is using that is what makes mine do that. just my 2 bits.
