Hes came across a problem n is asking has anyone else had this problem  with the condenser capacitator..does anyone know how to check this with some sort of tool or is it a case of getting another...n could i buy one from maplan rather than go to honda.. everythin else has been checked n has good values other than this capacity condenser....urgent please..

Hi guys...i took a tumble at the weekend there goin thru a patch o water.... n i drowned my 4 ride n completly went under the water..now i cannot get a spark at the plug...ive drained the water n chased the water out ma oil but cant get a spark..if i can get a spark n can get it started then i can asses the damage....hopefully none...but its highly unlikley...

Has anyone submerged their 4t bije before n list tbe spark at the plug....any ideas is a help to wat to look for...its only my second time out on it from new....so ye kin imagine how i feel..thanks.

im looking to see any links on the FULL wiring manual n the wiring qualities..ie voltage of certain function..thanks

  3. Chasing the water out...only meant..flushing the engine thru wi new oil a few times. N kicking it to get the new oil in waterways wi the hope its pushin water out....when i first dropped both oils it was like white n grey paint..NOW its nearly the correct colour when the new oils in there wi a carmely swirl in it..but i would do proper flushes if i could get it running...or at least to spark...then get it to run to asess the damage o piston / crank etc. Right now as far as i know its with a friend in his garage n hes on it...hopefully..

    Ok sorted

with the wiring schematic help you can see only one of the black an white wires go's all the way to the ECU now in my pic's the two with the black end covers come up from the stand the two clears go off into the loom well both kill and side stand will work to off what ever way round but pull the side stand feed an it stops the kill as well so the way to the ECU must come off the two up from the side stand you cant see it as you trace the wires up from the stand so just swap the white an black from the kill to the white an black up from the stand an you get motor running stand down an kill still working

Again Thanks to all who helped with this

Thanks for the advice guys. I think its probably one of those things that sounds like a pain in the a*** but once you've seen it been done it becomes easy.

I've heard some people don't take the sump guard off and simply lie the bike on its side to drain the oil out. Has anyone got experience of this?

Yes ive done this. When am changing the oil only.it can be messy. I made a wee ki da funnel up so it directed the oil in a basin..

No I wouldn't say so mate unless your a clumsy rider smashing into rocks instead of over them lol.

give it a try and I am positive you'll find the lower pressure a lot better especially this time of year and the rear.

    Thanks...i will try it...cheers
