There correct rings for dt 250 , not seen one like that before

I've got a dt250 piston for my ty! New rings arrived, in box with rings is a thin 50pence shaped ring! Can anyone tell me where it goes?

It was off a 78 ty250 , he said it ran ok but I won't know till I try it.

I got a spare barrel with a dt piston off flee bay for spares, I'm running a wossner at mo, but it's started with piston slap. So I was gonna try spare barrel & piston.

Do they make them for ty twinshock? I can only find mono on there web site

I'm going to order dampers & springs, need to get forks re chromed first

Sounds like a lot of work! will I need the magical damper rods & springs to get my original forks working better ?

Yes! Good point, they say the magical internals work ok

I didn't know whether to go down route of fitting mono forks or similar

Hi! I'm thinking of upgrading my ty250 twinshock forks, could do with some advice on what forks work well ?

It had rebore & wossner piston 6months ago! & electronic ignition 2 week ago! Just spoke to John at ty trials! He said it could be pulling air in when engine gets hotter than normal

I'm going to try it later after work! I'll double check filters just in case

Fuel tap is new & it has an inline filter! I pull tube off carb to make sure it ran through. The only thing I've done is put a new air filter on & oiled it. Could it be engine temp as I've not had it running for this length of time stood still.
