  1. mate you are worried about something completely meaningless...just ride it! there wont be any impact on internals, just a cosmetic issue...
  2. In the whole world there is noone who would know the proper engine torques. It took KTM to buy GasGas to finally have a proper quality manual. Swear to god my next trials bike will be from KTM GG. Anyways I tried 100Nm and the flywheel hub didnt break and also FW still seems to be well centered...incase anyone gets into the same situation, 100Nm was safe to use.

    Ty Flywheel Removal

maybe pour in dry ice in between the crank halves to try freeze the crank axle? didnt try it though myself
  4. Hi. Could someone please advice what torque to use for tightening the flywheel nut? I have 2019 300 RR and the manual states 40Nm. After using 40Nm, the flywheel has slipped, destroyed the key and key fragments have badly mangled the mating surfaces:(. Also other brands (Sherco, Beta) work with 100+ Nm torques. I put the crank and flywheel to CNC shop hoping they will repair it, but I dont want to end up in the same spot, yet also dont want to break the hub of the flywheel on the crankshaft. Any advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
  5. Pretty please - I have been reassembling the engine and I wasnt able to find torque specs for the flywheel. Unfortunately it slipped off the crank, destroyed the keyway, mangled the mating surfaces on both crank and flywheel, and keyholes are both chewed by 0.5-1 mm, so the timing will be all messed up:(. Can ANYONE advise the torque specs for the damn flywheel on TRS 250/300? Seems like only producer without engine torque specs available:(
  6. Hi, I have purchased a TRS 300 RR 2019 after 2 racing seasons. I did a complete bottom end and also converted it to 250 RR with a cylinder/piston/head insert kit. As my weight is 91kg / 200 lbs without gear, I have purchased new fork springs for >90kg and 80N shock spring from Reiger. I would like to ask for a few tips: SAG - does anyone have any proven static/rider sag numbers to aim for? Jetting: I ride in Central Europe at approx 400m above sea level (1200ft) I have checked the float level and adjusted to standard 19mm, completely cleaned the carb etc., but I dont like how the engine runs. I have standard jets, needle and slide - pilot 48, main jet 125, needle JJH and clip in middle position, slide 3.5 Would someone riding in similar conditions please advise some good settings? I usually ride in temps above 10 C all the way to hot summer days 30+ C - is the carb temperature sensitive? Many thanks in advance.
