  1. When I removed the exhaust front pipe the old gasket was on the pipe so I reckon it does go onto the pipe ....but I may well be wrong ?? Plus the pipe has a shoulder on it so that the gasket butts upto to it. The gasket is the same as ones fitted to Gas Gas and a few other bikes. Pics attached
  2. Hello All, Has anyone had to fit a new manifold gasket (spirometal O ring) to a 2012 JGAS 300. I received a new one from the Saunders Trials place today. It fits into the head ok BUT won't fit onto the exhaust pipe. According to info on the web AND going by the part number description, the dimensions of the new one I've got are correct BUT the outer diameter of the pipe is 40mm and the new gasket internal diameter is 39 mm. Is it a case of heating the Gasket up to get it onto the pipe ??? Appreciate your comments / advice, cheers
  3. Thanks mate, will give him a bell
  4. Hello All, Anyone know where I can get a chain tensioner for my JGAS - I did buy an Apico one but its nothing like the one on my bike
  5. Hello All, Has anyone had to replace the seal that sits behind the gear shifter lever ? If yes, where are they available ?
  6. I used a place in spain to get that bolt, as you say vince had problems getting it from jgas......website is nowtrial - https://nowtrial.com/en/. Delivered in 2 weeks
  7. Thanks, that's what I;ve done the 2 part numbers apply to my 2012 bike
  8. Hello, I'm trying to get hold of a rear shock linkage bolt / bush T30C500507 and T30C500507 for my 2012 Jgas 300, it's the bolt that goes thru the aluminium 'dog bones' (I think some people call them). I've been in touch with Vince at Haven trialssport, and he's still waiting for a reply from Jgas Spain, been on quite a few UK trials sites but no luck , found the parts stocked by The Hell Team down in Oz but postage is more than the parts. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction otherwise I'll keep waiting for Vince or get em from Oz
  9. All sorted now, a good soak of AC10, bigger punch and knocked them out quite easliy
  10. Hello, Try the Pantone Connect App for you phone, point yer phone camera at the colour and it should give you pantone colour number
  11. i'm in the process of replacing needle roller and top and bottom spherical bushes on my Olle rear shock, bike is a 2012 JGas 300. Bottom bearing (with spacer / bushes) is removed from the shock but what a mare I'm having trying to get the spacer bushes out of the bearing. Lots of different methods tried already .....penetrating spray, heat, cold, hammer and punch, hammer and chisel, big hammer and chisel - not shifting at all. I'm guessing others may have had the same problem, just wondered if anyone found a way to knock them out. I've been trying to get new spacer/bushes but no luck finding anywhere that sells them
  12. Thanks for your comments, I have seen the levers that have a 'pinch bolt' fixing, so I'll try one of those ....just gotta get one that will not contact the Mag casing
  13. Hello All, I'm new to Trials and new obviously to JGas, I bought myself a 2012 Jgas 300 only been out on it once but really enjoyed it .....I had aches in places I did'nt know could ache !! Anyhoo, I'll get to the point. Gear lever on my bike is bent and its a wee bit sloppy on the splined shaft. Ordered an Apico (which said it was for my bike) but way too tight trying to get in on the splined shaft....sent that one back. Ordered a 2nd Apico (don't ask why I did this !!) but 2nd one turned up same thing again, I would guess that Apico may be farming some of there stuff out to who knows where ..but we can all guess. My question is this - Have any of you replaced gears levers and had similar issues and if so did you manage to find somewhere that supplies a lever that fits.....Are Gas Gas or any other brands using the same lever ??
