My 2019 JGas 250 gearbox has failed twice for same reason in separate occasions. Each time the 3mm pin, that locates the selector fork to the selector drum, has broken and allowed the gears to engage inappropriately and destroy themselves. Have others had this issue. If so how did you fix so that it wouldn't repeat.

Jotagas seemed to disappear a few years ago, and their previous website seems to have disappeared. But I stumbled upon G2 Grup the other day and lo and behold So do Unicorns exist? Is anyone selling these bikes again or is this just wishful thinking from a bygone era?

I have a 2014 jtg 250 that has done about 25 easy trials.Riding it yesterday and the gear lever sometimes stuck at either end of its travel which seemed to be further than usual. It still selects ok but the lever has about 10 degrees of play before anything moves inside.Theres no unusual noise or jumping out of gear, has anyone else had this problem and what fixed it please?

Hi I'm new to trials and bought a 2012 jotagas.i drained the gearbox by Removing the Big plug in the bottom of the engine . Which I have since found out not to be the drain plug but something to do with the gear selector . Now on refitting the plug I have a lot of movement on the gear lever.... What a numpty ! The bike rode great before . Does anyone now the fix for this? Thank you

So after a break in trials riding and after watching Ross Noble I picked up a 2014 Jotagas today and all I can say is what a bike!! I have had beta’s, gas gas etc but this Jgas is absolutely amazing! Seems so well made, looks unbelievable, rides great and is a lot less “busy” than other bikes. Really looking forward to riding again. I don’t know why there are a lot more people riding these bikes. I was in two minds with a 2014 gasgas 300 (had one before) and I am so happy I chose the Jgas. If I ever swap it will be for a newer one. We need to support companies like this and not be scared of being different. Go for it people. You will not be disappointed!!!

Hello, I'm trying to get hold of a rear shock linkage bolt / bush T30C500507 and T30C500507 for my 2012 Jgas 300, it's the bolt that goes thru the aluminium 'dog bones' (I think some people call them). I've been in touch with Vince at Haven trialssport, and he's still waiting for a reply from Jgas Spain, been on quite a few UK trials sites but no luck , found the parts stocked by The Hell Team down in Oz but postage is more than the parts. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction otherwise I'll keep waiting for Vince or get em from Oz

Hello All, I'm new to Trials and new obviously to JGas, I bought myself a 2012 Jgas 300 only been out on it once but really enjoyed it .....I had aches in places I did'nt know could ache !! Anyhoo, I'll get to the point. Gear lever on my bike is bent and its a wee bit sloppy on the splined shaft. Ordered an Apico (which said it was for my bike) but way too tight trying to get in on the splined shaft....sent that one back. Ordered a 2nd Apico (don't ask why I did this !!) but 2nd one turned up same thing again, I would guess that Apico may be farming some of there stuff out to who knows where ..but we can all guess. My question is this - Have any of you replaced gears lev…

Recently acquired a 2013 300, bogged a fair bit but otherwise ok then started to detonate once hot. Stripped the head off and it was fully carboned up, cleaned it all and checked jetting in the keihin which was running a 120 main 48 pilot and a jjy needle. Set carb back to what I gather it should be as a 125 48 and jjh. Ran really well nice and crisp but it’s still detonating once warm and the plug is covered in black soot still. Tried the air screw in every possible position I can think of but still does it, am I missing something really obvious? Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received

I'm currently putting a new clutch in my bike, but on removal of the old clutch Ive noticed the clutch basket has some play in it, probably 1-2 mm does any one know if this is normal? Or am I looking at new bearings? I noticed it's a allen bolt holding it in which look like a pain to remove. Any help is appreciated

What is parts back up like for Jgas bikes. They seem to be shrouded in mystery. Even googling , gives few definitive answers. They look well built and thoughtfully designed.?
