So ! With the announcement from TRS yesterday and the total lack of information given by JTG about the possibility of a new importer does this mean that we should all just ditch our bikes and buy something with a bit of stability !! Is there anyone with any information !!!!!!????

Jack Sheppard, official driver JGas The British driver Jack Sheppard firm JGas for 2015 season. Jack participate as an official driver in the World Championship for next season riding a 300cc Racing JGas. Jack is pleased with the new phase will begin: "The opportunity to be the main driver for JGas in the World Pro category is too good to refuse. I am very impressed with the quality of the bike and easy to carry. I am eager to start working with Steve Saunders, Jordi Pascuet and the rest of JGas team. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank John Lampkin for all the support I received during my years in Beta. " On the other hand, the team manager SXS Jotaga…

  7. Started by brucey,

I recently bought a 2012 JotaGas 300 from a Dealer and would like to road register it for insurance and security reasons. I have his receipt, and both the frame and engine numbers available. Before I go to the expense of getting it MOT'd and Insured, how do I obtain a dating certificate with no official importer? I have been through this process with my 1965 Triumph Tiger Cub but not done it with a modern Trials Bike. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Bruce.

Howdy Folks, there is a nice 2014 280 Jotagas for sale that I fancy. Is the power delivery like a Gasgas 280? thats to say is it more snappy than the 250 or 300. Snappy and fiery is not what I need.

  9. JGas are still making Trials bikes down in their Girona factory . In my opinion this wont change. I was at the JGas factory 2 weeks ago and thought you might like to see the photos. Ive been to factory a few times now since 2012 and nothing has changed from the times ive been there previously. They are still building Trial bikes and sending them out in crates to their importers. There are still the same number of employees there assembling bikes and doing other tasks as youd expect. Nothing has changed. They are working on other projects as well , such as the enduro bike......but it all takes time and they're not rushing it. Trials bikes and motorcycl…

Hi, After much deliberation I took the plunge and ordered a new 2015, 250R and paid a 20% holding deposit back at the begining of December 2014 to a local trials specialist. Unfortunately, no bike has materialised and nobody seems to be able to provide a definative answer why or even assure me it will ever turn up. I have tried phoning & e-mailing the factory direct without any joy so I am now assuming the worst. I fear that shared suppliers caught in the GasGas financial melt down are unable to provide key components to Jotagas so they have `closed their doors' until further notice. The supplier has offered to transfer the deposit onto another brand but I really h…

Recently I became the proud owner of a 2014 JTG 300. I am really happy with the bike in general, however I would like to improve the fueling if possible to overcome a slight lag just off of idle. I should also point out that I may be being perhaps a little to fussy as the lag is by no means terrible. However I have been spoiled by having an OSSA TR280i with pretty much perfect fueling. To date I have tried multiple jetting, clip position, idle screw and slide changes with no real improvement from standard. (120 main. 35 idle. 270K emulsion tube. 60 slide. 36 needle) The bike is also now fitted with a low compression head to combat pre ignition issues. Running 98 octane f…

Whilst in conversation with steve Saunders about my registration woes , see other post, I mentioned to him about the severity of the power and kicking in and spinning up the rear wheel in snotty conditions especially on hills and was there any way of calming it down , I already have the low comp insert , flywheel weight and slow throttle , he suggested fitting a redd block spacer to improve the torque level. As per his advice I fitted said spacer , when I removed the reed block I found that at the factory hadn't screwed the reed petal and movement restricter all the way home so these two items were loose ! I suppose worst case scenario these could have broke due to vibr…
