  1. Just reminising about 2007 and the trials I have attempted, I say attempted to ride. Been some tough ones throughout the year both for bad weather and some serious clubman sections, Colonial, Wainwright, Reeth 3 day, White Rose, EY2D, Scott, to name but a few. Everybody will have their favorite for one reason or another, but I think my favorite/best ride has to be the Wainwright, finished both laps, in time and put up a reputable score, even cleaned sections 2 & 3 on both laps, still dont know how I managed that !!!! Looking forward to 2008 and riding/supporting the East Yorks/Yorshire centres in both membership and trials attendance, Cliff Collinson, Colonial, Cleveland, Jack Wood, etc the list goes on, better get the passport stamped now. Looking for new overseas trails representative/drinking partner to stand in for Cota Kid on European WTC rounds. Won`t be the same without the sand dancer.
  2. Anyone riding in the EY2D will now how tasking the sections are for us so called "CLUBMAN" riders, lets hope common sense prevails and they follow the Colonial route in making them ridable for the mid ranged rider. Shame Dom is riding, probably off chasing camels in the desert, he is the life and soul of trials and has like me, provided some excellent entertainmnet over the years. Dom we are all going to miss you.
  3. Barney, Still hitting the roads on the mountain bike, what about the East Yorks 2 day, thats what I'm worried about, 2 days of glorious trialing in the East Yorks Centre. I'm still on the Scott reserve list, hav'nt heard anything yet thought !!! Still, me and Cota Kid will be supporting the East Yorks boys through thick and thin and if you beat last years time, I'll buy your bear all night. PS All those people who have bought gear off me off Ebay will have to wait a little bit longer as me and the Cota Kid are off to the TDN this weekend, beer glorious beer !!!!!!
  4. Agree totally with Cotas comments. Had a great weekend, met some old friends and made some new ones. Cota was somewhat subdued by the genral lack of decent bars in the close vacinity of the hotel, however, this was made up by the copiest amounts of local brew, San Miquel. Highlight of my weekend was meeting lots of great people, who live and breath trials including the manager of Future Racing. A certain well known journalist, name withheld, managed to blag me a test ride on Fabio Lenzi 's Factory TRW 300 4RT. It was only for a few minutes, but it must be the best
  5. Dear Dom, I'm struggling with my machinery at the moment as I can't get it up !!!! I've tried all sorts of methods but to now avail. I'm scared it will effect my current performance. What do you suggest !!!!
  6. Having just emptied the van after a fine days trialing in Rosedale, it occured to me after reviewing the results board that there were a number of non starters for this hard to get in/reduced field event. Who and where are these people, I've got mates that did'nt get a ride who would have gladly passed over a days shopping with the wife at Teeside Park, if only they had let Keith know in time. Anyway, fantastic day out, really tough sections and the water levels were absurd at Rockhouse!!!! Thoughts anyone ?
